-AMP in carbondale. Around Murdale area. Had a dream about visiting with Mai in the past. Always very good. Had a RECENT dream that I visited and they were under new owners. No bueno. DIY and no fun otherwise. Mai is no longer there. Couple of different girls. One looks hispanic. The other is an asian lady in her 40's. Neither very attractive. Repeated the dream once since then with same results. May not repeat again for a while.
-New place in Marion. Over by Taco Johns. Had a dream of a visit to this place right after opening. DIY with some hand roaming. Massage was good. May repeat.

Depressing.I'm glad someone else verified my suspicions on this. Wasn't sure if my experiences were unique or not. If this is a normal trend for AMP's opening up new with higher quality help and then downgrading over time after establishing customers, it makes me wonder if the newly opened Mt. Vernon AMP might still have some of the nicer ladies working there.

I stopped by a few days ago. The only girl offered was chubby, but willing. Wanted more $ than "normal" but performed well. Still, I remember the Far East over by Louisville. That was MUCH better. Star Spa in Effingham was better too.

Let me say, you guys have a true gem here! Made a visit here and was greeted by a short Asian maybe early 30s with long hair, typical A's and very slim. Was escorted to the second room and had a great massage. I requested a hard massage and whew she delivered! I have never had someone work so hard the entire time and I was really impressed, of course there was the added bonus. Much like what was reviewed, no discussion of a tip which I agree is very nice. Went the full hour if not more to be honest and it was very well worth it. This is a repeat for sure if I ever have another opportunity in this area. 60/40.
Made another trip to the MV AMP and hooked up with the same girl as the previous time. On this occasion I was having some significant lower back pain so I mentioned this to her because I was curious to see how her deep tissue techniques measured up to my experiences with LMT's. She did the same wonderful massage overall that I enjoyed on my first trip but her deep tissue techniques on my back were as good as if not better than those from the best LMT's I've experienced. I was blown away! She even worked in some very elaborate hot stone techniques on the lower back that really seemed to loosen things up. This girl is the best of both worlds. Enjoyable and therapeutic massage. Can't beat that combination!
Not on par with Star Spa in Effingham a few years ago. Man, I miss that place. But this is the next best thing, even if it is basically just a handshake. The cuteness of the girls, and in particular, their personality too, goes a long way toward being worth it. Very happy to have it not too far off!

I went here a couple weeks ago around 9 am and chose the 1 hour massage, typical house fee of .60. Greeted by a cute 30 something Asian girl with long dark hair down to mid back. When the massage was finished, the girl would always leave to allow me to get dressed and wait for me up front, then go into the room to prepare it for the next customer. This has always been the case for me except for the two times that I went to the Mt. Vernon AMP. Both times I had the same sweet girl who gave me an awesome massage but after it was over she remained in the room. She slowly started preparing the room but also kept watching me and smiling as I was getting dressed. She was not in a hurry to get the room ready because someone else was already waiting, I think she just may have enjoyed watching me get dressed. But what I also love is giving them a feel or three before I put the money on the table and say my goodbyes. As long as you're not a jerk about it, she'll allow it. Let me know.It varied some and I've not been a regular up there for awhile but at Kiku in Decatur the girl would usually stay in the room, often help me get dressed such as buttoning my shirt and even putting on my socks and shoes and then she'd accompany me up front to the door. It was a nice touch.

The Acupressure Spa in Herrin has been open for awhile, but I didn't realize until recently that it was an AMP. The fact that it is located on Herrin's main drag has kept me from giving them serious consideration but after driving through town recently and looking a little more closely, I see that there is a large city parking lot located behind all the buildings on that block and that the Acupressure Spa has a convenient back door entrance as well to provide more for discreet access. Definitely one of the most discreet spots in our area. Haven't had a chance yet to try them out but if anyone has, what did you think?

Ads are on backpage with all the others, same typical pricing for massage, I went with the 1 hr for 60. I called and had them unlock the back door for more privacy, she was there waiting to lock behind me.
