So. This place is rough, but it is entertaining. Bunch of low life's and the girls, while they each have redeeming qualities, are overall weak in looks but strong in other areas. Tsars If you go with a positive attitude and patience for your clothes smelling like smoke, there is fun to be had.

These girls are real life 5's, but creep up in person since they're all pretty fun.

Not a safe area outside. Questionable individuals inside (regulars).

Haven't been to the dirty rug in years. Takeout seem doable?Takeout used to be almost assured but I haven't been in there in some time. I've been playing down in Jax for quite a while now. Compared to the Rug the clubs down there are worth the drive.

I might have to hit the Rug this weekend just to make sure it's still there. Last time I stopped by it was a whale watcher's paradise, but at least the drinks were pretty reasonable for a strip joint.

Any update on the red carpet?

I have been in a few times and it's has been pretty slow, which is actually pretty nice since you wind up along in the VIP area.

I stopped in for an hour or so a couple of weeks back but never got that far. Some decent bourbon was the only thing that kept it from being a total waste of time.

I;m going thru the area this weekend. Thinking of stopping in the REd Carpet. Any Takeout to be had here? Or just skip this place and go to jacksonville?

Decided to update this since I passed through. First on a late Thursday afternoon, probably between 7-9 pm or so. It was definitely dead. One girl who was a 5 on her best day, the bartender was way better. Somewhere around 8:30 more girls started showing up, from what I could tell solid 7's and up. But they didn't really come out of their changing room by 9 and I'd had enough for one day.

Went back on a Friday night, it was much livelier. Nothing really below a 7, and an amazing AA girl who I got a dance with and saw a really skinny girl with glasses I would have loved to get to know better, but she didn't come around. All in all it's a bar with a strip club tacked on; given the lack of privacy in either 'VIP' area if it's extras you're after I'd give it a pass. Maybe you can get lucky with OTC idk I didn't try (had a date with Nikki I was killing time before).

If you just want a titty bar with some drinks and you're for some reason stuck in Brunswick, it's not too bad on a weekend night. But that's about all it is, so YMMV.
