First time post!! I've been reading for ages but decided to contribute. Just thought I would offer some information about the sw scene in Greenville.

I haven't been in Tobie's in 5 or 10 years, so no current info - I did have some luck with an off duty stripper from there about 15 years ago (gave her a ride back to her trailer, she relieved my, er, umm, tension). The only ones I've seen in recent years are one way south of J-ville on highway 17 near the Pender County line (Pleasure Palace or something like that - it's a double wide trailer on the east side of the highway - they have a sign by the road & the entrance is near a median cut-thru). Closer to Tobies is another trailer called Smitty's - it's probably 1 or 2 miles south of Tobie's on highway 17. I've never visited, but saw it mentioned in one of the boards here. I was driving through J-ville a couple of times this week and saw 3 sheriffs cars parked in front of Smitty's on Sunday a little before noon. Later in the week I drove past again & it was closed - don't know if it's permanent or not. I heard there may be a couple more jack shacks northwest of town (on hwy 258 between J-ville & Richlands), but have never investigated.

Having the opportunity to spend a little time in Jacksonville over the past couple months, the only area I spotted any SW at all was around Richland ave and Henderson Dr off of 17. And the side streets in between. I also noticed a lot of LE on occasion. In my limited cruising time around the city I didn't get the sense that there was any other area for SW. I've been here for 3 years and I've looked all over the place for SW action. I've driven up and down 17 and around hooligans and by notels around there at least 300X and found something maybe twice and those 2 times felt like a setup with LEO around. CL doesn;t have anything, and there is only one girl that I've spoken to, but not visited that does escorting, and she only works part time. You can find her number on TER. Black girl by the name of Ebonee.
As for strip clubs, Tobies is the best for getting down and dirty. I've gotten simple stuff (HJ) in the back from one girl. I don't need to tell you her name, because you will know who she is when she asks you for a Hennesey and Coke. They all tell you that tipping is done in the VIP, so that is your chance to negotiate. Too bad for me I can't go back there because someone who works there knows someone I know that wouldn't want me in there if you know what I mean. Don't bother with La Mirage. You gave an accurate account of the nightlife in J'ville. It has decreased greatly in recent years, but you are still looking in the right areas. I have found that recently deciding the right time to cruise is been the most difficult. Where you could once depend on the activity starting after 10pm and lasting until 3am and have 5-8 girls to choose from, that is not the case now. I recently found a cute WSW out on Onslow at 3:30 in the afternoon, but she was picked up before I could turn around. The hunting is slow, but they are still out there.
Your report on the activities at Tobie's was also correct. On a more serious note the extras was one of the club's main attractions. All strip clubs have some attractive women so what are you adding to make your club competitive? Now I don't require extras, but that is mostly what brings people to a club when other things such as the decor of the club don't match higher end clubs (only one the has that appearance right now is La Mirage) , but the point still stands. I learned a long time ago to bring positives to match any potential negatives I bring to the table.

We're gathering details on the arrests of three people accused of assaulting a man inside a Jacksonville hotel room.

The alleged assault happened at the Quality Inn located on North Marine Blvd in Jacksonville on Sunday.
The Jacksonville Daily news says the assault suspects are 30-year-old Tyron Long. 35-year-old Marcus Alston, and 27-year-old Nichole Acosta. All three are Virginia residents.
The paper said the three are accused of seriously injuring a man after beating him with a baseball bat, damaging the property of Quality Inn, and stealing $175 dollars. All three are currently at the Onslow County Jail.
