I'm tired of cleaning shit like this up so Raleigh now has it's own fight thread for stupid non pussy related arguments.
The Argumentative infractions are relaxed here, but all the other rules are in effect. If you want to see how it works check out The Rat Trap in Orlando, The Octagon in Cincy, or The Massholes in Boston. If anybody has suggestions for a better name make it here.
I usually ask if a city wants a thread like this but I'm imposing this on Raleigh because you guys will fight about anything. From now on review threads are for reviews, bring the bullshit here. There is now zero tolerance for arguments in the review threads in this city. Start a fight on a review thread and you get put on moderation. I don't care who you call an asshole here, myself included, but no more douchebaggery in the review threads.

This section of the board is for rants and raves, so I have one to share. If you feel kinship in anything I write, a private message is welcome.

I am no expert on Uncle LEO but I am not sure I am buying all this.
Here is my take. You might think your favorite Uncle works for a guberment but old LEO works for Po Po, Inc. Now, Po Po, Inc is like any other company, it needs to maximize it's revenue. So they do that by busts and convictions. Generally, it seems you meet different quotas of convictions in different drug related crimes and your local Po Po franchise is eligible for different levels of guberment funding. So meeting your quotas of drug convictions is very important. That's why a lot of times, you'll see a sweep of our favorites because they love their demons and they are the easiest targets -- picture, location, etc. Our hobby doesn't directly generate revenue for Po Po, Inc so it cannot be the focus. But like any public company, Po Po Inc has to have a good public image. So ever so often, they will go after hobbyists and their friends to show that they are fighting what may be trafficking.
Just my take. I am no expert but I am highly doubtful that Uncle LEO is generally going to all that effort to capture an established hobbyist's account and post as him to entrap others. There is no money in it for old Uncle LEO in that. I don't like that you are downplaying hygiene. If there is one thing you can do to have a better experience its take a shower and brush your teeth before you leave (this applies to all facets of life). I don't post reviews and if I do, it's generic. Also, seeing BP girls is a damn crapshoot. To be fair, many guys are jerks to these girls and they are jaded from the negatives of this industry. Sadly, USASG contributes to the negative side of this business. Tl; dr Don't tip service providers. If you like the service give good reviews and go back, but don't give more cash. Negotiate with cash in hand and show them the cash. Never take more than you want to spend and know your min / max prices. Always negotiate with your clothes on and be willing to walk away. I think negotiating is a bad idea. It's too much talking back and forth. Here's what I do, I don't even look at a providers rates, if I like her I make my own rates and that's it. If I think a girl is hot, I tell her she's hot and I tell her what I have to spend and that's that. It's really easy. Going back and forth is a waste of time.

A2I think FatLever and I can get on board with your point here. The only thing I'll add to the discussion is that it is annoying to see newcomers be led far astray by crazy or manipulative posters. The more members and the more logged on during the day gives this site leverage to potential advertisers to support this site. Nothing works in society without some sort of investment. Trolls have their value because they are an active member who counts towards the number game plus trolls stokes conversation. Some drama is positive for this site if helps the bottom line with the numbers game. Trolls annoy the true hobbyist because only we know the facts locally not the A2. You can plead your case to the A2 about certain members posting absolute shit that hurts local good talent but the A2 will only do something if a post clearly violates a forum guideline because the A2 cannot verify the trolls shit or the hobbyist facts. It's a no win situation for the A2 but the genuine poster feels at a disadvantage because it seems that shit prevails against the facts. If the factual hobbyist confronts then their post could be deemed as argumentative which puts you and not the troll in hot water over forum guidance.
Ignoring a troll or poster with a hidden agenda is difficult for me. I usually have to respond at least once but I try to do it respectfully, factually and reasonably while stating my views. Diplomatic is the approach I try to take but it's hard not to be sarcastic while replying. Anybody can create a profile and I think we assume too much in that we think we are always talking to a hobbyists when it could very well be a journalist, Uncle, a provider or even a significant other whose whole purpose is counter to the reason for this forum.
This site has the capability to track IP addresses and determine who has multiple profiles and if a banned member is creating a new profile. That would take too much time and resources and this site usually only does that when their servers are attacked or spammed by those who wish to crash this site.
If Pang decides to reinvent himself; well I hope things work out better this time and the lesson of saying your peace, letting go and moving on without being argumentive was learned.

Guys, take some time and read A2's forum post. You will notice that he gives advice and clues on how to enjoy the boards and interact with him. Here's what I learned:
Use the report post button to make A2 aware of a user that's being an asshole or, for the noobs (I'm forever a noob), if you need help in editing or deleting your own post.
Do not confront, argue or call out other users. Use the report post button.
Use the ignore user feature for users that annoy you, personally. This is a great feature. Ignoring people makes me laugh to myself.
Use the right Thread for the right conversation. Ex. Don't post about AMP in the BP Review Thread. A2 and team set up these Thread topics for a reason...keeps things organized and clean. We help him out when we Thread correctly.
Write reviews! A2 loves slits just like we do and he wants to read reviews in the review threads. If you don't have a review and you just want to post, pick a Thread topic like General or this one.
Dont be a dick, don't be a tough guy and don't take things personal. If someone pisses you off and you're ready to explode, talk to A2 about it by using the Report Post button.
It's easy to enjoy yourself on the boards if you listen to A2 and read the FAQs.

Sometimes it's boring with no new info. But when there is lively conversation and useful posts, I might visit 4-5 times throughout the day. So the people who seemingly despise the new members who are making an honest effort to participate would do well to realize those guys are the future of the forum. The paying customers are the advertisers, but the active members are also customers; they pay with their time and effort to create the product for advertising. It's basic web business. If it's a hostile environment, people who post will spend their time and effort elsewhere. Less time & effort from members means less advertising dollars. If more senior people take this into consideration, they might be a little more supportive of the new and regular members who are making an effort to participate and become future SMs.
So no argument here with anything said, this is actually a good conversation and it would be good if more active members would read it. Maybe there is not much that can be done to change the general nature of the forum, but even a little patience and support for the new guys could lead to exponential increases in traffic. That helps all of us.

Another clue on how to spot the troll is to look at a their post history. You'll see the troll post everywhere and they antagonize other members by calling them weird nicknames. You do have to realize that most girls doing this do it to survive. Its a full time job for most and you have to consider they have to pay for the hotel, food, clothes, kids (if any) and everything else.I understand where you're coming from but let's face it prostitutes who do it full time usually have two choices 1) go high volume 2) go low volume. Historically low volume providers charged more. Based on where you lived the price was not ridiculous. 500/ hr in Manhattan is a lot more appropriate than 500/ hr in Raleigh. Generally for that higher price you got GFE, easy access, a nice environment and so forth. Many of these full timers you're defending offer none of that. They've just jacked up the price because I guess guys are paying it. The sad thing is that now you can't really equate price to quality of service which has caused a lot of mongers engage in the hobby less often, stick with regulars or explore other avenues. At 300/ hr for a provider who has more rules than Hamarabi, most guys are better off taking the sugar daddy route or spending a night in a larger city with a larger population of single women than Raleigh.
Here's some food for thought. When did Bobbi and Daisi raise their rates? It was long after most other providers had already shot up to 150/ hh despite the fact that on a bad day those two provide better service than 3/4 of the girls on backpage and other sites.
Trust me, for most providers now it's more about greed or feeding a habit than it is survival.

The problem with the increased rates is that a lot of providers are doing far less volume to the point where it's scary sometimes. A couple of months ago I talked a provider into a reasonable 100/hh and when we were in the room she told me about how it was just a special and her usual rate was 180/hh and 350/h. Apparently that week she had only done 2 guys (both for the hh) and had run out of money.

I guess the biggest thing no matter what you do is not to put yourself in the position to be taken advantage of emotionally or financially. Or do providers like bobby etc screen that?Honestly if you try to book a provider who screens and you don't have any review history, you aren't on a verification site and don't have references you will probably be denied using a Google voice or burner phone. Most of us are willing to work with those who would like to preserve their anonymity provided they can assure us through some way that they aren't LE or won't rob or harm us. If a person has nothing to show me then yes, I want a real name and phone number. I've been fortunate to avoid prospective clients who are the sex offender list or who have been charged with a violent crime this way. If a client does something blacklist worthy, I use a blacklist database that's only accessible to verified providers and blocks out part of the name, email address, and phone number unless you search with one that happens to have a BL entry. I don't agree with using public blacklists but I do not feel sorry for Jlart123 at all.
I definitely agree with going with intuition on both sides of the aisle, and I will say if you want to see someone who doesn't appear to screen I would be very wary. I can't disagree with Amateur11 or xHippie. I get where they're coming from. But as someone who has used agencies in Raleigh, DC ATL, all over really, and who is also a member at P411, I will say that I think the risks I took in being able to "get in" to those places was worth it. Now if it was a BP girl with average reviews and looks wanting certain info, no freaking way.
