Ideally, eat it in-between meals and not with meals.Nice thread again John, Maybe it's just me, but a few years back I went on a popular diet program which consisted of several "protein" shakes per day with one good natural meal. Well to tell you that I felt like crap was an understatement. I DID lose weight as they claimed, but I felt lousy, tired, lost interest in sex, and lost muscle. Couldn't take it anymore, so I got off the program and bought some protein powder from my local health food store to help bulk my muscles back up. Well I gained bulk, but it was not muscle, at least not hard muscle. I bulked up sort of like a steer, not a bull. I really got worried so I looked close at the ingredients for answers, and sure enough, they both had soy as their primary ingredient in them. After researching this for awhile I figured that the soy was converting into estrogen and screwing with my hormone levels.

Now with that said, how do the Chinese men stay healthy eating all the tofu and such that they do? I also read that soybeans are toxic if you ate them from the field.

I know our farmers are pushing them because they are easy and profitable to grow. I am thinking that soybeans should be left for the creation of plastics and such, and we should be eating other vegetables instead.
