Yes, I've learned about this the hard way too.Dayuse let's you cancel up to the day. Basically if you don't check in and swipe your card you should be able to cancel beforehand.
Hotels dot com has an option for some hotels that allows you to cancel the room up to the day of the booking. If you don't stack your rotation 3 deep for the hotel so you get one round during your lunch break, then another for happy hour, and the third for breakfast the next day, this is a good option. A lot of the hotels that allow you to cancel the day of will require you to pay a few bucks more for that privilege.
First off the extra $10 is definitely worth it if you're dealing with someone new or someone in your rotation you know isn't super reliable. But it gets even better. Often times the hotel that offered you the last minute cancellation for the up charge will have available rooms the day of your date for a lower price anyway. If the SB doesn't show, you cancel the room and move on. If she does show and the room is cheaper, cancel the first booking and then rebook a non refundable for a lower price. It takes all of 10 minutes. If she shows and the room isn't cheaper that day, you paid an extra $10 to protect $125 or more depending on the hotel.
Frankly though, if you stack enough ladies in the rotation for each room, you can just book the cheaper non refundable rooms each time.

I check the reservation and it was cancelled, and a refund was requested.

So a couple of people wanting help. After being an SD for many years I can tell you that some of it just comes with a bit of experience dealing with crazy situations but I'll try to provide a short list.
1. Never pay in advance, do not send dick pics especially with your face unless you want extorted. Either situation will leave you alone on a date with Rosie.
2. Within your profile just try to be normal, something like "Just an average, chill guy, looking to have fun with one lady, who appreciates a successful man. Looking for discretion, and one on one time with the right lady. " Avoid words like "intimacy, sex, ppm, etc. " just state "I prefer to discuss this stuff off line, if you'd like to text to work out specifics, I'm down for that. " Always speak like you're chill and cool.
3. Hide all Live in Indiana, Indiana. They don't live in Indiana and / or live too far away and have zero good intentions.
4. Just hide the ones that say that they are looking to sell pics and videos or meet in person eventually, there is no eventually.
5. If they text you, don't assume all is good, talk to them like normal, if they say times have been tough (red flag, ask more questions. Chances are it'll lead to asking you for money for a baby sitter, money for their sisters meds, money for groceries, or gas ahead of meeting. Just wait for it, I promise, 90% of the time, they'll reveal that to you and then you'll just end up blocking them, therefore refer to rule number 1.
6. Never pay for a meet and greet. If a woman needs to be paid to simply meet for drinks, she doesn't like you anyway and you aren't getting anywhere but a boner for some hot chick being a * to you and checking her watch.
7. Ignore the "My last SD paid me" or "I usually get" because remember, they just said "I'm new to this". So stick to your guns, the average is 2-3 $4 these days, or 4 $$ for top of the line, hosting, no hotel, babes. Fat, ugly chicks, maybe $1.
8. If their first and last call is todays date, feel free to reach out and let us know how it goes. But chances are they are dudes who robbed instagram photos so might as well wait a day or two to see if they get banned or not.
9. Some women despite what I said are real, and just on drugs, so ask for current photos and look for obvious signs of pharma use -- track marks, rotten teeth, extremely skinny, etc. At that point its up to you, just please use a condom with the real women on that site that the rest of us may choose to date. I don't want what you catch from the crackster.
10. Be nice, be real, be sincere. While they are all hooking, basically, some do like to see one guy at a time (most lie but some no) so be cool to them. If they want to meet you and you click with them in text, they probably do find you attractive for your age so be even more nice to them. Just don't start offering stupid money to make them think that's the norm, because they likely aren't just seeing you and our replies will just piss them off and your price will go up as a result (just sayin' Consider your hourly worth and never offer more then that as you surely aren't getting your value at that point. Also consider their hourly rate if they have a job, and meet somewhere in the middle. Mutual means mutual. Last point here. I don't care if a lady is a pro hooker or a lady who is trying to get through college, or a lady just wants a slightly older man to marry, the site is becoming very diverse and is full of crazy ass liberals. So I guess the best suggestion I could give is to not rush the conversation to What, how much, when, and where. Just get to know them as if you wanted to date them, or had interest in considering so. It'll get you further with more incredible experiences then if you treated someone like a peace of meat; as you probably don't want treated like an ATM.
Hope some of this is helpful and I'm sure others will have useful advice.
P.S. -- if you want to know about someone, I only block those that fall into the unsafe category and most of the time when you guys are asking about someone with plans to meet, I've long ago blocked them because either a: they wanted money up front, b: were on drugs c: sent nasty photos compared to their profile, or d: were super GPS (like over 5 $$ . Do gift cards / prepaid cards no longer work on SA? The other day I received notification that my account that I've had for almost 3 yrs got shut down for some bullshit, but about a yr ago I created another account that I would use just to check to see if a gal closed her account and / or blocked me. So I went to try to pay for a premium account under that login by using a prepaid Visa, when I was entering the first 6 digits of the card # I got a little popup message that said something about the number of approval's with a prepaid card is kinda low yada yada yada. So I hit submit, the page refreshed and when I tried to log back in it told me that the account is temporarily suspended. So I checked the card balance and nothing's been deducted from the card so I thought does this have to do with that they're tracking my IP address from another account they've already shut down and they're going to come back and tell me this dummy account is shut down too? So I tried to create another profile on my cell without using WIFI, tried to enter the prepay card info and I got the same response that its temporarily suspended. So at this point idk if its getting flagged due to my main account being shut down, or if its because I'm trying to use a prepaid card.

Met this one a couple of months ago and then kept it to myself in case of a repeat session. The easiest thing to do is just wait 90 days. Otherwise you will be caught if you 1-use the same IP address 2 - have any cookies that are left on your browser 3- use the same email address 4 - use the same payment method 5 - use any of the same photos.
The simplest way around all this if you can't wait 90 days (or so) is to just use a Virtual Machine, or different computer, then use a VPN, and then use a different photos / email / payment method.
Try making a new account using a different browser or if you must continue to use your prior browser, be sure to dump all your cookies.

Just all assumptions here. Smarter guys please correct me. Some changes I noticed, friends with benefits is now just friends on the interests tab. If you or they blocked the name became Sugar Baby, it is now Attractive Member. Can no longer report online only (now acceptable). I have 2 profiles paying and non pay (fake creeper profile). Two-Factor Authentication you can disable (both mine are). I heard a term called "hot linking" or something like that. My point / question is I use my fake profile to click on links from this site to check the profiles. It now always requires me to check my email for the 6 digit code when I first log in and click on the first link from this site. My paying profile I never use on this site so I am never clicking on any links outside of the Seeking site. That paying profile not used here has never asked me to verify and put a code in.

If you don't stack your rotation 3 deep for the hotel so you get one round during your lunch break, then another for happy hour, and the third for breakfast the next day, this is a good option. A lot of the hotels that allow you to cancel the day of will require you to pay a few bucks more for that privilege.
First off the extra $10 is definitely worth it if you're dealing with someone new or someone in your rotation you know isn't super reliable. But it gets even better. Often times the hotel that offered you the last minute cancellation for the up charge will have available rooms the day of your date for a lower price anyway. If the SB doesn't show, you cancel the room and move on. If she does show and the room is cheaper, cancel the first booking and then rebook a non refundable for a lower price. It takes all of 10 minutes. If she shows and the room isn't cheaper that day, you paid an extra $10 to protect $125 or more depending on the hotel.

What I've found is you can just call the front desk of the actual hotel, talk to the clerk and ask them to cancel the room (sometimes, even as late as like 7 pm or something on the day you were supposed to check in), and they will do it. No extra charge.
As I'm sure you've all experienced, I've had SB's be all dtf, we make the appointment (I usually like to meet them 7 or 8 pm, that way we can spend more than just a hit and git type situation). I log on to the hotel site and make a res. Of course, I'll text the SB the day of to confirm. And of course some of them ghost at that point. I'll usually wait until like 5 or 6, and if they still haven't confirmed for that night, then call the hotel front desk and cancel. If the front desk sounds a bit hesitant, I make up some bs story about my secretary was supposed to call and cancel earlier and she forgot or something. It has never failed. I don't use hotel.com or priceline or whatever. Just the hotel's corporate app / website, etc, to make the booking.
But find the phone number of the actual front desk and call them to cancel if need be.
Also, those hotel reward points can come in handy. I was looking to meet a college chick one time out of town. That weekend was a football game and the rooms were outrageous. But, using my points, I was able to get the room for the normal points price.

Not sure how these numbers are getting that high. I feel like even if there's one crazy guy out there paying that, the market would still eventually push their price down again since nobody else would be biting. I find it hard to believe there's a ton of guys out there paying $1000.

New phone numbers and new profiles help avoid this type of scenario.
I generally move trusted SBs that have been in rotation for a while over to my first burner line and Snapchat. New SBs that get added to the rotation get a new burner text number that gets thrown away with the old profile.

Great messaging on SA and quickly agreed to meet in person. Messaged her the day before to confirm and switch to text and then she said she had to pay bills and couldn't meet. Didn't actually ask for anything, but it sure seemed like a loud hint. Anyway, this one seems real until she seems like a scammer. Just be aware.

Technically. Romanian is a Latin language. But so is French, and I'm not sure that anyone of us would consider the french latinos.
