I think that it's because I chose a true independent as my first, and she either didn't ask for references or I told her that she was my first and she was okay with it. I truly don't recall anymore. If visiting from the Bay Area, I do recall a Korean girl telling me that her booker handles both areas. And I imagine that they can confirm even from out of town.
In any case, there are 100 Asian women to choose from on the one site I look at. Choose another? The less popular girls, I think, may be less picky about the screening.
Few reasons for that:
1. The booker from those two references didn't text them back.
2. those refs gave you a bad rep, maybe the girl reported you for something she didn't like to her booker. This was sent to the kgirl booker.
3. The refs that you have doesn't satisfy their level of safety concern for the girls, I. E. Health, robbery, scam, etc.

Would anyone be willing to trade intel on BBFS providers near San Francisco, San Mateo, San Jose for intel in Los Angeles?
