Hey guys
Since this is the "amateurs" section, I think this would be an appropiate question to pose here:
Does any one know about the mail order brides/girls businesses especially in Colombia? I have checked out the web sites, but has any one actually dealt with any of those agencies? I love the latin girls, and I think I am gonna eventually end up marrying one. Supposedly, the girls from Cali, Colombia are really pretty and educated. Any info on this would be appreciated. J.G.

There are afew good points, and bad points to meeting someone through an agency. One bonus is you don't have to go wandering the countryside searching, another is you can pretty much guarantee (assuming it isn't one of the numerous services that are scams) that the girl/woman in question is indeed seeking her mate in life, and she will also probably post some details about herself, which saves the need to ask alot of pointless questions. You can generally get to know her weeks if not months before the actual meeting, and she can get to know you somewhat.
The bad points, include services who don't update their "catalog" of ladies often enough, poor customer relations, con jobs by the agency, con jobs by the women, immigration difficulties depending on where both of you are from, a lack of "spontaneous" chemistry (meeting someone by accident and finding a connection is much more dynamic and special than if you reply to an advertisemen, not to detract from personals services), trust issues based on distance (what's to stop her from cheating? you're 5000 or more miles away!), the list can go on and on (both pro and con).
Your best bet, is to be wary. Caution can save you alot of heartache later on if you stay open to both success AND failure. I know of success stories, and failure stories from matchmaking services, personals, classifieds ads, as well as spontaneous meetings, so anything is possible.
If you're prepared for the effort, they can be rewarding, but if you have other options left, that can be better. If you like latin women, here's an idea, go to latin america for your vacation, pick a country with women you find appealing, meet them, flirt, be happy, have fun. Unless you're totally unappealing, you'll probably find some interest, and you will be interested as well.
If you must go with an agency, be wary of the above points. I have never personally made use (successfully) of such an agency (although have done it to find friends and casual encounters sometimes), so I can't say I am happily married to a gorgeous woman. When you look at agencies, consider it shopping, compare service and price, check around the internet, you might even find a friend (male or female) in a chatroom who can fix you up with a girl in their own country, thus saving either of you the hefty fees some agencies charge one or both of you for the privelege of placing you together.

I have searched the Adult Friendfinder site, and while there appears to be a lot of good looking and horny women at the site, I am sort of against paying large amounts of money per month just to access a site with no guarantees.
However, there has been a lot of buzz for craigslist.org
The site is supposedly the hip site to meet women for dating, or even "casual encounters". There is also an erotic section where ads are placed. Reviews have been mixed on the site, I for one would like to hear people's experience with this site and others.
Lew, I have used the craigslist site and have had both successes and failures. Whenever I post an ad in the casual encounters section, I never get any responses. However when I post in the regular dating section, I have gotten plenty of responses. Only thing is it is tougher to score with women who may be looking for more than just getting it on. I have however scored with good looking women from that site.
Never tried AFF. I did have success with the yahoo personals back when it was completely free, but they have a similar payment structure to AFF now.
I tried aff and I had reall good luck. I met this woman in my area that was ok with my being married and I got to spend some time with her. There is alot of fake ads on there but most are easy to spot. Hint: Fake ads seem to always have pics that seem too good to be true. I usualy go with ads that have no pics. You can also try looking up their user name on yahoo. Most women use the same user name so they do not forget.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess that I'll try craigslist (I have answered a few ads and received feedback on one, but never hooked up with the woman -- did not receive pic either) and see what happens. I'll give feedback to the forum.

Guys, I have tried www.lavalife.com and for only a month of messaging and emailing for $19.99, I've hooked up with 6 women that still contact me through my personal email to get together for casual encounters.
The site is really well done once you know how to use it. A bunch of women have great profiles up on there.

The only free singles site I can find these days is Book of Matches, http://www.bookofmatches.com/. All of the other singles sites allow free profiles, but no contact without paying $10-$20 a month for a subscription. Book of Matches is totally free. The only problems are it's not a sex site (so use taste, guys) and there's not a huge selection of women on it yet because the site's fairly new. I've made direct contact with several women on the site, and I've been contacted by several.
I have been trying Lavalife and so far no go. It has only been about three weeks but I will let you all know if I find anything.
Regarding AFF:

I have been lurking around for about a week, and now I can finally post! So anyways, here's my experience. I also had some success hooking up with a few women using Lava Life. It was money well spent since they played for free.
My favorite and best hookup method was the old free yahoo personals. That was great for freebies and escorts. I haven't tried them since they cleaned it up and started charging. I have been a member of AFF and ALT. The AFF site seems to be a waste - hot looking chicks but I think AFF puts them up to posting because many of their responses are the same. I think it is how they sell their monthly memberships. Very few responses have been real. The ALT site has produced two encounters. Both lived up to their promises and were for real. I am not commenting on the professionals - these were for free casual encounters. The overall appearance of the female varied widely.

I've been a member of AFF for about four months now and I can report my results. I've chatted with a few women and actually met one for lunch. She and I didn't click (she was attractive, but looked a little too much like my sister) but it did give me some interesting insight. She was receiving about 50-100 emails per day, and her ad does not have a photo. She said most of the emails she received were pretty crude, and most included the seemingly mandatory cock photo. (Funny part was, her brother actually told her about the site and suggested she sign up.) Bottom line: there are some real women on AFF, but you’ll have to spend some $$$ and filter through some fake ads to find them.

Hello all,
I've had a very interesting week with AFF. Thought I'd post a quick note for those of you who might be interested. It seems that my AFF account has been deleted. No warning, no notice...just poof and it was gone. I have had (to this point) no luck in getting a response from AFF regarding my account. Since I'm a paying member and still have a few months left, I'm more than a little irritated about not being able to log in.
With the above info in mind, you'd think I would be very down on AFF. You would be wrong. Last week I chatted and exchanged photos with two great women. I read your posts on AFF and just thought I would share my expierances with you.
I Signed up for 1 month as a gold member with no pic. I had posted on my profile that I had a picture to send I just did not want so leave it on the computer. I emailed MANY women from my area and did not get 1 reply. I started really looking at some of the ads and mabye its not true in your area but I saw several ads with differant pictures and screen names and they had the identical profiles. That kind of made me real leary. The last day before my acct. expired I got an email from a lady. She was 35, I'm 28. So we started corrosponding by email. and then met. You can look at AFF in two ways. One for about 30 dollars you can meet one girls or many girls. On the other hand it could be a waste of money to pay and not get many responses. All of the ladies I talked to said that they got many emails. I think more or the ladies posts are to solicit web cams and things of that nature but if your patient and weed through the spam on the sight, If you have sex with 1 girl not bad for 30 bucks. Its just kinda a lot of work to do that, but so is trying to find some cheep action in north louisiana.

I first tried American Singles.Com. Got several replys but it seems like the gals age quite a bit from when the picture was taken and when you meet them. They also tend to gain quite a few pounds in this period. I did meet one lady through this service and she took care of business for me 4 times. Interesting note on AFF: I used it quite successfully when I lived in a foreign country, meeting more than a dozen girls (sometimes long-term) in the span of a year. But when I moved back here to Chicago, it did not work once. It was all spammers trying to get my email address, fake ads placed by AFF themselves, or bitches who would talk to you but never meet. The Chicago chat room was full of chicks looking for chicks. A total waste of time.
So if you live outside the US and your area has a large membership in AFF it might be worthwhile to join.

I was a year-long Gold subscriber with a picture/profile about 2 yrs ago. I didnt meet ONE lady from my area using the service. I found that the CHAT rooms on AFF are where the real action can be gotten. After participating in a little chat now and then in my area chat room or, in my case, the Dirty 30 room, I was invited to several parties that were being arranged throughout the country. The only luck I have had with amatues on the web has been with yahoo and aol chatrooms I have met plenty of women but fucked very few of them. I think the key to success is having a nice profile with a picture even if you aren’t that good looking, that way the girl will pm you first instead of you doing it. If you requested her to be on your list first, she should show up on your bootycall list. If she asked you first, you have to approve before she will show up on your list.
Also, did you pay to be a member? If not there are certain things you can't do.

I ran into a simular situation just last week. I joined the sight with out paying and sent booty calls to several women. I revieved a message that said, " someone has accepted your booty call" of somthing to that effect. At that point you have to pay to send any more messages. I paid and then sent her another message and then nothing at all. I was under the impression that if they accepted your inniatal contact with a responce then they would be intrested but I never reciever not even 1 more response from anyone. Gentlemen, please do not PM me asking for the penpal website any more. I have received too many PMs to possibly answer. Jackson has limited the number PMs that you can send out by making you wait at least one minute before you can send the next one. I have cultivated several relationships on Asia Friendfinder and on Cherry Blossoms.
