Any news on New Yorker? I think that we need to find another hot AMP (Rainbow 7) to replace it. I think Pine Tree is just so so. I do not know much about China Spa. We need a rating system or something. I know that places like Rainbow 7 rely more on tourists than locals. But once you become a regular they do treat you like GFE.

Saigon Passion III changed its name to White Tiger. Johnny decided to try a different approach and slightly remodeled the interior by cutting out the large main stage and putting in a live band. Not quite sure what he was thinking but it became very difficult to tip and feel like the old days there. The buying of drinks was somewhat the same but more toned down. Depending on who you got to sit next to you set the tone for how much groping you could do. Drinks were still the standard $20. Last visit was last year about June so this is a little outdated but from what I hear, the place looks the same still with the live band.
Also swung by downtown the other night. It was pouring but there were still a few SW's out. Didn't get a good look but the two standing up were about 4's with bodies about 5-6. There was one sitting down but she was covering her face, body looked about a 7 but may have been a TS.

Nixy is coming to town for about a month in mid January. She should soon have an add on eros. Way too large for my taste but lots of reviews and they are all A+++. If you are at all into full figure girls then this is the one. Hell I might even give it a go.

Quick question. Would you guys not go to a new AMP if a white guy was there? In other words you still have a woman greeter (unless busy or off) but a white guy is running the place. You may get greeted by him also. Some of the working girls do not like it but are willing provided the money comes in. I just need your feed back on this. I know that it would be strange going into an AMP and seeing a white guy or any guy managing the place. Just some feed back. I am not saying i would be there all the time as most of the business comes from the tourist trade and not the locals. That would be the big problem making sure not to lose the tourist business and having a guy there could hurt that side.

My recent post about Saigon Passion/White Tiger was very recent. I went twice late last month (December) and both times there was no live music so hopefully that form of entertainment has stopped. I was there fairly late in the evening so maybe there is still live music earlier but I hope not. I would agree that low expectations are probably a good idea. The girls there are by no means knock outs.
I would have to disagree with the suggestions for either Rock Za or Exotic Nights. Both bars used to be fantastic. Rock Za used to have just amazing talent but it was always pretty hands-off. Exotic Nights used to have the best of both worlds. Beautiful girls, stage, booth and upstairs play. Now, Rock Za only has a few quality girls and the mood inside the bar is depressing. Exotic Nights in my opinion is now the worst place in town. The girls are really sub-par, the beer is warm and the wait service is terrible. I was at both of the clubs in early November and they hadn't improved at all.
Femme Nu now has all the best talent if you are just looking for eye candy. The stages are always packed with up to ten girls dancing at one time. Also, the place has different girls dancing different nights so there is always variety. I was there over Christmas and there was always something good to look at. If you are looking for extras, then you won't find them at Femme Nu.
Another possibility is Club Sundance. It hasn't really been mentioned on this site but it used to be amazing and the last time I went in November I had a pretty good time. It is a pretty small place on Queen St. and has usually six girls working a shift with two dancing on stage and four sitting with customers. The girls are usually local, young and pretty friendly. On my last visit there was a haole dancer that was very rough but otherwise some nice girls.

Gotta disagree with one point with Kumbu's post. NEVER pay up front. Once you pay, she has the power. If she does a lousy job, you are not going to get a rebate. You will just be unhappy for paying too much.
Just let her know that you will pay on performance, at least $100 or so. If she does not like it, tell her to send someone else in. Business is not that great at the AMP's in Honolulu. She could very well change her tune. I have been dozens of times over the years and have learned after getting screwed on several occasions of poor, rushed service.
Treat them with respect and don't be an a**, you'll enjoy it!

I also have to agree that paying up front for everything at an AMP is not always a good idea for the very reasons why the last poster stated. I do remember that last year and the prior years, payment was usually asked for once the massage was finished and the extras were to be negotiated. Lately though, I find that all the AMP's I visited, 1039, Sophia's, New Yorker(when it was still open), all asked for tip after and didn't even negotiate rates.
When I visited 1039(I think that is the place next to champion malasada's) earlier last year, the girl didn't negotiate, she just waited for me to begin DATY then proceeded to do everything else. She never negotiated a rate and after I was finished, I attempted to tip her but she just said to leave it on the bed. I could have just left a 20 as she didn't even check the money but escorted me to the door and offered me a soda. Sophia's was also the same, I think they were scared due to recent LE activity.

Street Report
Downtown behind Longs was dead. One SW pulled over by HPD for at least 30 min. When they left, 4 Mahu SW's invaded. If you're into mahu's, cool. If not, it was dead.
Merchant Street, Ewa of Bishop, was busy with a half dozen mahu SW's. A skinny local one was brave, and would walk across the street as you approached so you had to stop for him/her. I maneuvered past like an obstacle course.
Waiks was normal. Almost all the SW's are platinum blond. It looks like Gabby from Downtown moved back to the Waikiki track.

Hi People,
I went to Romantei on New Years night and I'll have to say that place has some good looking girls. I just sat at the bar, had a few beers and observed. My question is for those that have been there, do the girls play at all? I noticed a wide mix of girls working there and they all were pretty busy getting drinks at the bar then going to the side portion of the club (where the booths are at). Any info would be appreciated.

Cruised downtown about 10:30pm, had two 6's by longs, not sure if they were TS or not. One was a blonde half-asian looking one, the other looked local or filipino. Saw a knockout(9) in white jeans and a red top, asian but couldn't see the face. Not sure if she was a SW as the bar was still open and she was right outside the door, on second pass she was gone.
There was an older white SW, brunette with jeans and heels. She looked pretty good but the wear showed on her face. Body was about a 6 but good for her age(mid-late 30's)?.

Now that New Yorker is closed (looks for good) where did all the working girls go? I asked the owner of Rainbow 7 but none called her. It is a shame as some of those girls where hot. I guess we need to find a new location. Of course I go to Rainbow 7 but still looking for a place like New Yorker. One that is large. Rainbow 7 is small but nice. Let me know what you guys think. It looks like they may not let another relaxation place go into the old New Yorker. Not sure yet. The owner would not need too much to change it into an office or what ever.

Anyone have any luck getting "extras" at any of the hostess bars in the Kalihi area? There seems to be a large concentration of them (bars) in that area, any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
If desperate in the Aiea area, Princess Pub behind Jiffy Lube at Pearl Kai is pretty much a guarantee for extras. I personally don't care much for the place though as the ladies there are very aggresive at the bar lady hustle routine.
Ran by New Yorker yesterday hoping agianst hope, but the sign (Moved Out) is still up.

You raise a good point about starting a place of your own - demand and supply. I think the demand side of the equation is fine - if you build it, we will all come (bad pun). The problem may be in getting quality providers.
It occurs to me that all of the good places in America these days are run by Asians (hence AMP) - primarily Korean, Japanese or Vietnamese. This makes good sense because they have connections back home to recruit tons of possible workers. If you are local, non-Asian and a man, supply may be a problem. And if your supply runs dry (or falls in quality), then demand will definitely fall off too. Something to think about.
Am I correct in assuming that receiving "extras" at Smile Spa is hit or miss? I would like to try it out, but wouldn't know what to do if I didn't get hooked up with a girl.

White Tiger, AKA Saigon Passion III has been converted back to how it used to be. They finally took out the band. According to one of the girls there, this happened last february, however I thought it was more recent. The large main stage is back where the band used to be and the booths are back to how they were a few years back. There are a few girls worth looking at but the drink hustle is pretty bad as usual.
Misty I was pretty bad. Quality has gone down considerably. Extras are probably still available but not worth it as most are old and fat/ugly.

I think seeing a white guy at an AMP instead of the normal older Korean mama-san would definitely catch me off guard at first and make me think twice about going in.
However, if you provide quality service and word gets out business should be ok. Obviously the key is the service and the girls - if both these are outstanding than I wouldn't care who is at the door or who is running the joint.
Street update - haven't been out lately but do cruise the nuuanu/pali strip in the morning before heading to work. More out of curiosity. Saw a few out this morning - normal SW, some TS and a couple of crackheads. I'm curious if they give discounted service being the end of their night.

I haven't been to any of the bars in Kalihi but am also curious. There used to be a strip club off of Waikamilo up near N. King but I noticed it closed down. The owner was pretty hot and I saw one other nice Filipino girl working as a hostess but pretty dead.

What do you think of Bebe from Rainbow 7? I saw her last time I was in and she was exceptional. My normal provider was not in so I took her. She has one hot body. She is not as good at asian as my regular but she was very good. For the money she is well worth it. I am told Mickey is also very close to her but am not ready to switch providers. Bebe told me she would not tell my regular. They tend to get a little jealous of one another trying to steal customers. It does make for a better time though if they think you might try some one else. YMMV
I agree with #1107 on Saigon Passion III and Misty I. Never been to SPIII when it was White Tiger, but no band now. Girls on weekdays are not great--no where near Femme Nu or Rox Za--but they are friendly. Waiters are also pushy with drinks.
I walked into Misty I on a weekday, and girls were fugly--f'ing ugly. The place was small, dark, and intimate with a lot of potential to play, but girls were too ugly to stay.
Has anyone tried to date a working girl from an AMP? They ask for your cell number or give you theirs but has anyone called and gone out on a date? Let me know. I have dated a few but none here in Honolulu. They like nice guys who treat them nicely and spend money. Not all are after your money some just like a companion.

I stopped into the new strip club called Penthouse Club on Keeamoku. It is in the old Golden Dolls location.
The inside has been totally renuvated and looks pretty cool. There are 3 small main stages and then table stages at each booth. There is a bar against the back wall and a private dance area behind the bar.
The club opened Wednesday night but their grand opening is supposed to be this Saturday. The sister club is in St. Louis so they flew in a bunch of their St. Louis talent to dance at the club during the first three weeks. If you are into mainland strippers with fake boobs then you should definitely head there before they go. It is pretty cool to walk into a club and see 3 dancers on the main stage and then about five other dancers dancing on the booth stages.
Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends. I spoke to the manager and the 'rules' for the club are rediculous. The talent must switch between different 'jobs' depending upon what they are doing and all this must be reported to the DJ booth.
When they are on the stage (including the booth stages) they are 'entertainers' and are allowed to take off their clothes but not allowed to touch the customers, other 'entertainers' or themselves. When they sit with a customer they must go to the DJ booth and report a change of status to 'hostess' where they must remain fully clothed and cannot drink any alcohol or touch the customers or themselves.
For private dances, the girls must go to the DJ booth and switch back to 'entertainer' and there are small stages set up in the back room. There is absolutely no contact.
If the girls want to drink, they can only drink champagne and the champagne prices are from $200-$600+. They must again go to the DJ booth and switch to 'customer' status to drink the champagne.
I spoke to a few of the visiting girls and they were pretty dissappointed with the situation. None of them thought they would ever come back to perform because they just can't make any money given all the restrictions. They also mentioned that alot of customers complained about their silicon implants which I thought was pretty funny. The girls do seem to be pretty friendly and given the fact that they aren't making any money and are stuck here for 3 weeks perhaps you can arrange some extras outside of the club. I was talking to one girl who seemed to be hinting at something during her 2 days off each week, but she really wasn't my type so I didn't pursue it any further.
Entry fee is $10, but there are free entry cards for the grand opening being handed around town.
I find it pretty sad that there are so many restrictions in the Strip clubs now. It seems even more rediculous when you can walk across the street to a massage parlor and get FS for $200. I doubt this club will have lasting appeal as it can't attract quality girls if they can't make money. Obviously, without quality girls, the place will be empty.

Saigon Passion is a trip. It's open until 4AM, and is not too busy from opening until 2:00 AM, when other clubs and bars closed. After 2, it gets busier, but not packed. At the booths, there's lots of heavy petting, even witnessed DFK. I swapped phone numbers with one of the girls. She called the next day saying she would come over afer work. We hung out, and the rest is history.

I've been to Kools Lounge in Kalihi a "few" times. Mostly korean ladies and a couple of filipino ones but I'm pretty sure they all play. I had BBBJ then FS in karaoke room, but stay away from the corner booth near the mens bathroom, its uncomfortable with all the bar patrons walking by. I've been to other kalihi bars but I haven't seen or gotten any action there, I may check out Tondo Tondo or the one right across Kools and give a report.

The strip club on Sand Island Access Road is pretty cool. Dancers range from 0-9, with all types represented--asian, white, local, black. There's a lapdance section, and some girls date outside the club if you're a good customer.
Visited Pine at 825 Keeaumoku spot.
I swear the mamasan who helped me out that night was the same one that used to be at New Yorker.
Did anyone else notice this?
Maybe the same people who used to own NewYorker owns this joint.

Just a little side note, not that I don't like your idea, but all the AMP's on Oahu have syndicate ties. I don't know what it would be like for an outsider to come and start up a "business". There will have to be money paid out to the syndicate(s) for "protection".
I heard that Micki(?) may be working at Rainbow 7. At least they have a Micki there that fits your discription. I will ask her next time I go there this weekend. I will also check out Pine Tree to see if it is the same as New Yorker (owner). I wondered where all the girls went and how they could close a gold mine down.

The bar near Keehi Lagoon park is Club Foxy, I visited there a couple of months ago, it's a strip bar with middle range looking dancers and Korean hostesses hustling drinks. I was there late on a Friday night and the place was pretty busy, I sat and bought drinks for a Korean hostess with a decent slim body but was around a 6 facially. At closing she suggested I take her home and stay the night, I also have to include that this lady was talking my ears off the whole hour or so I was sitting with her.

Anyways we ended up at Leslie's Place in Kalihi first where she wanted to have a few more drinks before heading out to her home, the bartender from Foxy met us there also. With the good lighting in Leslie's Place, I was starting to find her less attractive as time went on - did I mention she was talking my ears off? I got lucky when I took a break to use the restroom as I noticed a chained off stairway near the restroom. Deciding not to use the restroom and "hold it in" until later, I made my great escape down the stairs and out to street after which I didn't waste any time getting out of the area. I ended the night very happy in peace and quiet with a Zippy's chili-spaghetti plate before going to bed. I wonder how long she sat there talking (did I mention this lady could talk?) before she realized I was missing.

Thanks for the info guys. Someone asked for a description so here it is. Miki or Micki is probably in her late 20's or early 30's. I can never tell with these gals. She has a killer body and a nice face, I would say a 7 or maybe 8.
Micki is a common name as I've come to find out and according to one of them, there are different versions of Micki's - a new one every so many months.
She's kind of on the sarcastic (sense of humor side). I wouldn't say she's sweet or anything.
She's been in the business a while.
Just so I'm contributing information to this board, which is great to have found some of you guys again. I went to Yoko's a little while back. I don't know why. However, I would not recommend it. The one that I saw was old and grabby for money. Outside of that, it's as I remember it, including being let out that funny back door.

I "dated" a couple of girls from an AMP before several years ago. I use the term date loosely as I really had no interest in a relationship. But you are right in that the ones I dated were mostly looking for companionship. They were both new in town and were on the older side. I think they were just looking for a nice guy to take them out to dinner and spend time with to give them an "escape" from the AMP environment. The only problem is one of them lived in the AMP so everytime after dinner we would go back to the AMP and I would have to pay mamasan. Of course the extras were free but I wasn't happy about that. She came to my place a couple of times but then I would have to drive her back. Once I had to pick her up at 5am from the AMP when she stayed over.
The other girl I dated was really lonely and had a real problem with what she was doing at the AMP. She also had a drug problem and I took her into Chinatown one night to go buy drugs. That wasn't too smart of me thinking back. She then got busted and started working at a hostess bar and kept calling me. She was really clingly and needy so I just ended it.

Yeah the drinks at Foxy were $20. The booths there are a high back style which aids in privacy, but there was foot traffic from both hostesses and dancers walking back and forth for drinks. I'm not sure about a "special" booth or backroom though as I was only there that one time. Personally, I don't really visit strip/hostess bars much nowadays as AMPs are generally hassle free and very much less time consuming if you're set on a happy ending. Good luck at Foxy and try to at least come home with some change in your pocket. :)
I would not suggest Yoyo. Great chest and looks, but you will be disappointed with her service. Very mechanical and no feeling, there are plenty kine better out there.

Yes, of course the mob probably has their hands in the AMP scene. Why wouldn't they? The have their hands in every vice, a few politicians, unions, etc. Common MO anywhere in the world .. Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Europe, etc. Mob, Yakuza, Triads .. That's how they make money. You also risk time if LE busts you. You start your venture and you are taking on big time risks .. it's not all fun and games.

I have heard that the union also has a lot to play in things here also. It would be interesting to have a AMP union. I am a little surprised at the mob info I have been given. I know in asian countries it is normal but not so here any more. You learn something new every day.

Has any one heard of HPD cracking down on relaxation spas? I heard that they went to Milky Way last night. These places are not allowed to give you a shower or massage. I had heard that for the past 10 days they have hit most places. Any info?

I just spent a week in your beautiful city. I am from Seattle. A couple of observations from a fellow monger. First of all, how the hell do you separate the tourists from the SWs. Based on Seattle standards almost every woman I saw on the strolls near the Ala Moana looked like a SW. Lots of girls just hanging around on the street with short shorts, halter tops and high-heeled shoes. What's a typical monger to do. Femme Nu has the best talent right now. Rock Za is probably 2nd, although they have dropped off quite a bit from their glory days. There's a new club opened just recently, although I'm having a mental block on the name. See the post within the last week for that one. Early word is not that great though. Lot of restrictions. Most of the action you can get in any club tends to be overpriced. Suggest you hit the AMP scene for the best bang for your buck.

As far as quality of girls, Femme Nu and Rock-Za can't be beat. Touching is limited and I don't think you will get any extras there unless you are willing to shell out rediculous amounts of cash. Rock Za is more customer friendly.
Saigon Passion III offers extras but YMMV according to the girl/your attitude. The quality of girls has improved their from previous years. I think the club the prior poster had forgotten was Penthouse Club. I have heard nothing but bad reviews from several people who have visited. Girls are all white, from the mainland, old and used looking, no touching, overpriced, $20 cover, etc, etc. Most covers are $7 and includes first drink.
The further you get from the convention center, the less likely you are to pay a cover(except for Exotic Nights-$7 last I remember). As posted before, the farther you get from the convention center, the lower the girls looks get, but the more likely you are to get extras. Parking is often a ***** at all of these places so I recommend taking a cab.
I would have to agree with AT2 in that your best bet is just to go to an AMP. If you heed to posts on this board about what to expect, how to behave, etc, you should have a much better time and extras are not a gamble. I would personally not recommend the SW scene for a visitor, Waikiki quality of looks is good but YMMV greatly for service/price and you will most likely not get any GFE. They are fun to look at though, just don't buy-take your hard earned cash elsewhere.

I concur with AT2 and #1107 that Femme Nu and Rock Za are the top two in terms of quality. If you are looking for extras than don't go there. I know extras can be found at Tres Jolie which is right next door to Femme Nu. Quality is not great but fun can be had. You would probably have more luck with extras at one of the smaller clubs.
If money isn't a concern I would suggest a hostess bar. If the price is right you can have a lot of fun. The girls are usually pretty hot and will party with you.
I just checked out eros and noticed a new agency. Iehonolulu. Anyone have any info? The rates are very reasonable.
I know this belongs on the other board, but not many people seem to read it so I will ask it to the greater assembly. Does anyone know which bars or other establishments offer extras on Maui or Kauai? I will be there for work for long periods of time. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My bartender friend knew one of the PO's that came in his bar and thats how I got the info. I've also been at another bar when some plain clothes and a couple uniforms came in and just took a quick look around.

You may have missed the point. 99% of the hostess bars have some action, how much depends on how much you are willing to spend and the girl. The best girls routinely go the "champagne" route which will cost you a couple of $$$hundred easy. The Strip clubs are generally less accomodating, although there are some private rooms. Again, expect to drop a couple of hundred. You also risk the chance of getting almost nothing, if the girl wants to squeeze more dollars out of your pocket. In the AMP's, you pay $40-$50 to get in and $60-$150 (depending on whether you want a HJ or FS and of course the whims of the girl). You will pay less in the AMP and get a full hours worth of attention. In the bars/strip clubs it's $20 per drink and more for the action. You will spend less in the AMP's. If you are hell bent on getting action in the clubs, just try any near the Ala Moana Center area. You can't miss them .. dozens up either side of the two main streets.

For strip clubs, I would recommend Dancers off Nimitz in Kalihi Kai on Sand Island Access Road. It's not fancy like Penthouse, or a eye candy low mileage rip off like Centerfolds De Ja Vu. It has more of a Roadhouse locals bar feeling. Admission is $2 and you can usually find a dancer to your liking. Don't get me wrong...Some girls are big, some nasty looking, but others are straight up lookers. If you like the lookers, Dancers is cool because it is more laid back than Rock Za or Femme Nu. They are not pushy for drinks like Saigon Passion or Sandy's. There is a lap dance area too.
Because Dancers is so laid back, mileage can be great. It's not unusual for girls to date guys they meet at the club. One dancer even recently married a customer.

I'm not sure about Kauai but I know Maui has quite a few hostess bars. Check out Lower Main street in Wailuku. I've never had extras but I would think it's available for the right price. Same deal as in Honolulu.
Some lookers the few times I went. If you will be there a while you may want to try and hook up with one of them. Maui is a smaller town with a smaller pool of guys to choose from so the girls may be interested in hanging with someone new.

I've only ever been to an AMP in Honolulu in the afternoon, around 2-4pm. I've avoided the busy times in the evenings - Like Muff Diver I find it uncomfortable to be lining up for that kind of thing. The selection is not over the top at that time, but I've only been disappointed once. The trick is to talk nicely to the Mama san, otherwise you could end up with any old provider.

I'm not sure if there is a "best time" to go to an AMP. Here's the pro's and con's as I see it. Prime Time (7:00pm-3:00am) you have the best girls available but you also have the busiest time period. Within that prime time, you could on any given night have dozens of guys showing up at 8:00 and by 9:30 the place may be dead for hours. There's always that luck of the draw factor. Early (6:00am-12:00pm) is generally quiet, but there are fewer girls available or they may be tired from the night before. Wee hours (3:00am-6:00am) some places may not let you in or you may get a half-assed effort from a very tired girl. You will though, have the place to yourself. Between 12:00 noon and Prime Time is a mixed bag. Mid range amount of girls and mid range amount of activity. "Best" is a matter of taste. Do you want the largest selection of girls or the most amount of privacy? Do you have a regular girl or not? Etc. Etc. Etc.

Actually, you are the only one who posted that didn't get it, besides, it wasn't me who posted it initially, it was Jzjz who mentioned it first. I always thought it entertaining that the AMP's would have such stickers all over their doors. Vice and anything higher than lowly traffic cops don't really care about those stickers anyway so I was guessing it may have been some tactic to dissuade bums and vagrants.
I apologize for sounding negative but I was just caught off guard by a post like that. I know there are a few posters that post false reports(for what reason, I don't know) and your comments just raised an alert for me. Just ignore my sarcasm, I was in a particularly skeptical mood that day.
I haven't visited Kiku for over a year. When I did, I would go early, maybe 2am or so. The girls working weren't anything spectacular but were friendly and provided a good GFE. Rainbow 7 in the next building had much better quality. I had a chinese girl who was slender, 5'6" and maybe a 8 looks-wise. Kiku was just nice because the entrance was a little more discreet than Rainbow 7. I have also been noticing that that 1930 place on Beretania has always been empty and the King's Massage never seems to have the open sign on late at night.

When I am not pleased with the girl and none of the others are to my liking I ask for my money back. The girl will get upset and try to make a big stink or she may just ask for the mamasan to come in. She will (if girl Korean) be more fluent in english and will try to persuade you to stay. But if you say no I want my money back I am going next door (Rainbow 7) to VIP or Kiku then they will give it back. Only once did I have a problem that was at Rainbow 7 but they did end up giving me my money back and I did go next door. They have too many places all in one spot and the girls will try to keep you from visiting another. Remember that looks (as long as a 7or better) should not be your final say. Most of these girls are real pro's and have been at it for years. I bet you ask age all say early 20's yet I bet most in middle 30's, and yes exception to rules but most of the ones I know have been at it in the states for years. They go to Hawaii for relaxation and they get more money then if they stay in Ct. of Tx or Wash. DC or even LA.

I would recommend visiting one of the review sites on the net to get more info. If I recall MIschief did get some good reviews and I actually tried to call her but she couldn't see me in the afternoon when I was available. So I had to settle for Hana which was a mistake.

I just experienced Ruby at kiku on 1/20 so they were still open at that time.
I just looked at 1930 from the sidewalk in front on Tuesday (1/27) night, and that big ass 1930 sign was still lighted brightly in the night so I thought it was open. I saw the "for lease/available" sign on the fence, but I figured the current tenant hadn't left yet. I just hope an MP like NY leases the space. Does anyone out there know for sure if 1930 is open or closed?

Thanks for the info. I never asked for my money back but it is good to know. I usually am happy with the girl I get the second try. Only when I went to Rakuen did I have to ask a few times. Sorry if my post of "police stickers" alarmed you. It's only stickers, not tickets nor violations, nor was there any crime scene tape on the door.
Getting the entrance fee back if you don't like the girl/girls is the norm and is expected, unless she showers/massages you. I've sent 3 girls back before. If you do it all the time the mama gets annoyed with you and might not be very accomodating on a repeat visit. The daytime mama at PT is the worst. If you tell her what type of girl you're looking for, she'll send anything in anyways. If you don't like any of the girls, tell them you'll come back later and give you your money back.
Re 1930 status question:
It's definitely closed. If you saw Mini, she is now (at least as of a couple of weeks ago) at "Mika" which is where the old Evergreen was - near Rock Za. I think the phone # is 946-1333. As bad a location as 1930 was, I think Mika's is worse.
On the question below about Hana:
I agree with the comment that she's a "mistake." Generally not into, even whined about problems with her boyfriend during the session. You won't find reviews of her - she said she contacts review sites and demands that they be removed. I can't imagine that she's getting repeat business.

Last time I was there I made the mistake of taking a SW. Total rip off and almost carbon copy experience of what others have detailed on the Waikiki section. I want to try MP of the Asian kind this time. Visited Waikiki/Honolulu last week. I did my homework first and read *all* the information on this board and took some notes.
Beautiful island, Beautiful beaches and Beautiful people! But I felt LE presence a little too strong. Or was I just being too paranoid?
On Saturday, about 10am, I happened to be on Keeaumoku Blvd., so I drove to 825/835 Keeaumoku, expecting to find Pine Tree or China Spa. Pulled into the parking lot, saw some adult businesses (video store or toy store?), but could not tell right away which were the AMPS. [I was surprised at how run down this particular location is.]
It was pouring rain, and as I sat in my car looking again at my notes a Blue and White pulls into the parking lot and pulls up right behind me where I'm parked.
I tried to play cool, and continued to read my notes.
The officer(s) did not get out of the car, but after a minute or so, he finally pulled out of the lot. From the dryness of my car (it was really pouring) I still could not figure out which were the AMPs (are they on the 2nd floor?).
Anyway, I was just scoping the situation out anyway, so I decided to leave. As I pulled back onto Keeaumoku, I notice that a Blue and White (same one?) is parked on the street right in front of the building.
The first patrol car was definitely checking me out. After it left, I did notice that there were a couple of Asian men just standing about in or around the building, not doing anything particular. Lookouts?
I wonder if this location is under LE surveillence, waiting to pounce on a customer pulling in, but the fact I was a bit lost and didn't know where to go threw the timing of it all off?
I was definitely spooked.

The Penny saver is a free rag that the AMP's advertise in. There are several listed and you should be able to figure out the ones that are mentioned in this forum.
I would not suggest paying more that $150, this is on top of the entrance fee (ranging from $30-50). The penny saver has some ads that are coupons.
I just returned from Oahu and had three different sessions, for two I payed $120 and one exceptional session, $140.

Besides the Penny Saver you can look in the sports page of The Honolulu Advertiser for ads. Also some of the places have web site: www.rainbow7hawaii.com, worldrelaxationhawaii.com and others. It is more expensive here than on the mainland. The house will charge $50 (or get discount coupon) and the girls will charge a minimum of $150. It is best to put the tip out after you get in room and leave it in plain site. They will either take you for a shower (some no shower now) or just ask you to lay down and start a light massage. The money out front lets them know you what you want so they will be more friendly. Be careful as some will ask for more and do less. Rainbow 7 has always been very good to me. They have some of the nicest girls and give good FS for the above price. If you don't like the first girl ask for another. YMMV.

My guess is that LE were just cruising, and you were sitting in an idling car. That looks suspicious, even to me. Ice is a big problem around here, and LE are more on the lookout for those sorts of transactions, especially in a seedy area like the 835 block of Keeaumoku.
I agree that PT is hard to find, and I can't imagine trying to find it in the pouring rain. There is a cluster of buildings in that area, all seedy and run-down. PT is in the building closest to King. If you are coming up from Kapiolani, you turn in to the right just before you get to a place called Assibang (can't miss a name like that, but sadly, it's not what you might think). If you over-shoot, no problem, turn right onto Liona st. and immediately turn right into the parking lot. You have to take a ticket, but they validate.
PT itself is in a building away from the street inside a covered garage-like structure. There is a sign on the wall that says "Pine Tree", so you should be able to spot it once you are close enough.
If you still can't find it, I sugegst Rainbow 7 on Ward - it is much easier to find - clearly visible as you drive by on Ward. If you are driving Ocean-bound on Ward from King, you will pass Dixie grill on the right, and Rainbow 7 is in the next building. The sign is on the ground floor, and there is a little stairwell that goes up. Parking is available all over. The only downside is the visibility of this entrance.

I think your encounter with LE was just a case of first timer paranoia(I have had a few of those years ago). I only say this because of the time you mentioned it happened. The pigs here tend to harASS you more in that fashion if you were speeding or driving unusually, or had a car that wouldn't pass recon and they can't really prove it was you.
Heat has stepped up in the past year or so, especially at night so be careful none the less. If you are wary about raids/busts, they wouldn't do it with one blue and white, you will most likely see the SUV's and unmarked "Mike" units(the often classic impalas and large american cars) pulling in. UC's are usually pretty discreet unless you know what to look for. They have a certain stiffness to their posture. One UC for vice is particularly obvious. White guy with the full on(fresh out the military) hair cut. A couple of the local guys look like mama's boys from the 70's.
I don't know about showing money at the AMP first. I tend to bring just enough in small bills- 0.5 for the cover charge and 1.5 in 20's and change for the deed. I never show the money until after I negotiate FS or whatever(this is especially true for anything other than AMP experiences). 1.5 is the max I would ever pay at an AMP for FS. Now that I know some strategy(thats Kimchi)how to get the cover back, I can always just pack up and go to another AMP if the girl doesn't feel like negotiating for lower than the 1.5 for FS.
BTW, downtown has been pitiful. There were a few younger ones out but body/face was about 4/3 after a few beers and the rest weren't even looking at. What's going on ?!!?
I am glad my tips have helped some of you. When i leave the tip on the table it is between $120-150, never more. If I am a regular it is almost always the upper amount. If it is a first time I try to get away with the smaller amount. Most of the time the girl does not take the money until after the session. Some of them do take it when going for the equipment and i have had some come back and say not enough tip. I had one girl who wanted $175 or nothing. Of course she got nothing and I went down the hall and got what I wanted at my price. The AMP's here are more pricey than most other places in the states. My regular said it was because the tourists have more to spend and are looking for that exotic girl they don't have in Virigina or New York. My regular now tans in the nude at her apartment to look more exotic, or she goes to the beach for that tropical tan. I have known her while she was in the states and she never really wanted to tan too much as it puts too much age. These girls are into their looks as they know that they have only so many years (most of them have been in it for so many years already). They start looking to buy a place so they can get the money and try to get out of the business at an earlier age. Most are older than you think.

Per previous report below, went to Fantacy because Sara moved there. As often seems to happen, it is under "new" management, but I believe it really did change hands.
Anyway, Sara was busy, but got directed to Angie. Very petite, 5'2" slim body, good shape, very very good attitude, essentially a soft demeanor with some appropriate verbal encouragement throughout. Looks = 6-7 (no makeup at lunch, hard to tell); Attitude = 8-9 (accomdating and did the appropriate verbal encouragement as mentioned above); Sex = 8 (again, softer type session, which was fine). I've been inundated with PM's from fellow mongers supporting my comments back to OG so I've been writing thank you replies to those first as I wanted to give your response particular and insightful attention. I tried to PM this to you but it exceeded the allowed text amount for PM so here it is in Hono section.
I am in the SF area and I can tell you that generaly the rates here are higher than LA. Best we can figure is, it's what the market will bare. Basically this is silicon valley and some guys have the bucks to throw around. I am not necasarily one of them but I try to hang in there. Hence my comments toward Thailand. WHAT A bargain!!! You should give yourself a vacation there sometime, really... it's that good!
Anyway the rundown is this. And I am excluding those girls that try to get $$$ and higher because frankly speaking, it's just not worth it to me to pay that amount and I simply don't visit them.
AMP's are $40 to $60 at the door depending on their rep. FS is generally always assumed in the more well known places so it's usually one fee anyway. Some guys will write about negotiating BJ, DATY, etc. but I think for the most part I always find it's FS all the way and that's what I negotiate with.
So $40 to $60 door fee depending on where I go and then $100 to $180 for service. Now again, I'm a cheap charley so I will tend to gravitate to the $100 to $140 girls. But having said that, I do stick with one or two places when I am AMP-ing and usually try to work a volume discount.
Now lately, I have been into the Apartment AMP's. I find the service more personal. And certainly the environment more relaxed. There is a range here too. I see a girl at one place who I really really like. She's about 35 which I like from a mental state but she looks about 22. She's really petite and has beautiful white soft skin. She requires $40. door and $100 FS. But she NEVER rushes me and I sometimes have a glass of wine or some tea with her in the living room when we are done. She cuddles and kisses me with allot of pasion. I think we kind of dig each other.
There's another place (apartment style) I go to which has some OFF THE HOOK girls. Check them out at ******* My two fav's -Sugar and Kiki. Oh my! They are $180 all in. FS and room included. Trust me it's unbelievable. They are stunning girls and I very occasionally treat myself to them for $200. coz I like to give them a tip.
Sugar has been with a few places in the area, in fact I think ****** is number 3 that I am aware of. Kiki is straight from Korea about 3 mo's ago. And I believe her that she is knew to the business. When I first was with her she was so romantic with me I felt I was with a girlfriend. I mean she never gave me the feeling that this was a job for her. Know what I mean?
AMP's in the city are very cool. GF, Kings, etc.. it's a hit and miss on price. Asian men do in fact get a better price. This is a demonstrated fact to me. I am white and on average find that I pay $20 to $40 more than my asian friends. But basically I have had a girl at GF's for as little as $50 door $120 FS. And as much as $50 door and $180 FS. I know, I know, I was ashamed of myself too after leaving but hey, when she was in the room and I was a little high, I just couldn't resist.
At most of the better known City places you do literally choose from a line up. And the girls are mostly always fine. Young (late teens to very early twenties) and beautiful. Now I did indicate earlier that I tend to like them a bit older so going to the City isn't high on my priority list just to get a younger girl. I tend to find that typically, the young ones just don't do it quite as well. As pretty and as tight as their bodies are they just don't have that special something that experience brings to the table.

Kiku--It was good, but my first
Pinetree--I love this place, and they have some very nice ladies
World--I had great service here as well, but the ladies were older, but still HOT
Rainbow--I must say, this experience was not great, OK at best.
I visited Mahalo and Sophia, but left due to poor selection (I was picky that night). Mahalo was particularly bad!
Clubs:
Siagon Passion III--this was a total rip off, but I learned from it!
Sandy's--It was OK, but will not go back
Nite Lite--now it is Misty's, but then it was good. Misty's seems different and worse selection (so bad, I don't have any experiences)
Cache--I have a great thing lined up here, it is always good and reliable.
I have vistited many other Korean bars, but they have never turned up much,so I try to avoid testing them. I have also learned that most strip clubs are not the best place for action. This might be due to more oversight due to the dancers and the touching issues that have come up now and again.
However, there are a few AMPs that I would like to try. Such as VIP, China, and NY. I read some not so good stuff about VIP and NY is now closed, so maybe I should try China next.

Hey all you guys that go to Maui. The hostess bars on Lower Main by the resturaunt Tokyo Tei do offer extras. I was able to confirm that through friends up in Maui. Sorry I don't have a price list. I will do more recon at post. Interesting enough it seems that I may have found an AMP up on Maui. I will check that out too.

I would say that Pine Tree is now #1 (since New Yorker is closed) followed by China and then Rainbow 7. That is what the working girls at those places also say. They keep tabs from the Korean Cab drivers and tourist guides. I would try all those places. I am not sure why Rainbow 7 you would have had a so-so time they have always given me exactly what I wanted at my price. If you are new to them they may be more cautious as the LE has visited them just to keep them honest (?). Relaxation places are not allowed to give shower or massage. Not a regular you may not get that service.

You seem to be looking for the same info I am. Very hard to get. I'm sure it's out there, but I believe some people may be concerned about getting those providers in trouble. Alot of other interested parties also review boards like this. I know Marlene also provided the type of service you are looking for, but she's an older therapist (mid 40's) and now only visits the Islands occasionally. I can't fully recommend Son Kyong. She seems a tad strange for my tastes. Very quiet and somber type person. Kings does not qualify as a "legit" place in my book. I am thinking about trying Neida and Margarita, but if anybody has some info that may save me from wasting $$ it would be appreciated. The therapists that seem to cross the line seem to be older providers, who need to hang on to clientele by any means. They generally don't want to go that route, but competition forces them to do so. You might want to check out Ocean Massage in Century Center. Check the Penny Saver. Been there twice .. no extra's, but get the sense that if you are willling to invest some visits, it may pay off. A few questions that I may have overlooked on the board. Does Rainbow 7 let you look at the girls and choose? How much should I pay at the door and How much for hj or bj? Do you think anyone would be willing to do dfk and bbbjtc? Finally where do you park? I am not sure why Rainbow wasn't that good. I'm willing to try again since they are rated so high here on the board. The girl I was with wasn't realy into it. I guess you could say I am a regular (at least now and again). However, you have to know what you want when you go in. Then find the girl you would like to be with. Buy her a drink, and talk for a couple of minutes. If she is touching you, then you are in business. At this point, either tell her straight up what you want or buy her another drink somewhere more private.
Now, why would someone want to buy drinks for the girl, becasue if you are somewhere private and you indicate that you might want more, then she will try to convinve you to do more. If you like some foreplay before the real fun, then this is the best way to get it.
The hostess bars are a game. Someplaces are set-up where you can't win. Others are just a business transaction. Number one rule: On the first drink, if they are not touching you very closely, then you are probably wasting your money. Even if they are, be careful. BJ Hawaii is probably talking about a much higher quality massage than you are thinking of. I know I was. I have been to AMP's alot, and enjoy the experience, but it's very different from a "legit" massage with extra's. While some girls in AMP give a decent massage, they are not trained and licensed. They might give a great girl friend type massage but not a great therapeutic massage. It's very hard to find that "legit" massage with extra's. They are risking their license. But when you find it, it's great and a nice change of pace.
BJ Hawaii; Girls are early 20's and Korean. Very nice massage with hands and heated smooth stones. Very nice. They girls look good. Solid 7's .. possibly 8's depending on your tastes. I thought I saw a young filipina, but not 100% sure. The same 3 or 4 girls are there all the time. They close early, though. About 10:00pm.

I think YMMV greatly with AMP girls. BBBJTC is not unheard of. Junko gave me the best one I have ever had the first time I visited her, yet the second and third time she used a cover. One girl didn't use a cover at all for FS(I posted that last year) which was extremely stupid of me but I wasn't thinking with the right head at the time.
DFK, DATY, BBBJ are all just as risky for diseases but I have found maybe 50% of the AMP girls I have visited will do one but not the other which doesn't make any sense from an STD standpoint. Almost all of the AMP girls I have visited would let me DATY. I honestly didn't DFK any of the girls, at least, not that I can remember.
Hilo Boy: Several strippers and KB girls I have visited began to DFK me after only one drink. If this is what you are looking for I might suggest some of the out-of-the-way KB's and strip clubs. I have never experienced any of that at the tourist strip clubs(Rock-Za and Femme Nu)

I had to run some errands to Longs on Wednesday and Friday nights, so I figured WTF. Wednesday night was from 6:30 to 8 pm and there were a lot of TV/TS out there. I only saw one real 5 the whole time and by the time I got to the right side of the street, she was gone. The others were in the 2 and 3 range and I do have my standards to maintain.
Friday was only for an hour from 7 pm and maybe because it was earlier or may there were too many citizens walking around but there seemed to be no girls, only TV/TS. John Quakman was right on with his report about that DT SW he pickup the other afternoon. I can confirm this because, after spending sunday night at Dancers,downing about a six pack I decide to leave there and go take a cruz of the DT scene. It was about 3:30am. When I was making the turn by Zippys off of vineyard that I saw her. This tall slender woman standing next to the intersection, with long beutiful blondish red hair, and thats when I remembered Quakmans report. I immediatly pulled over and she very cool and casual walked over and leaned in the passangers window and said "Hi, what's going on". I then told her that I was looking for a date, and with out saying a word she jumped right in to my truck. Bye this time there were police all over DT because of the Great Aloha Run.
Well In short we went back to here place in waikiki and I got half /half from here for $1.5 while one of here GF was passsed out on the sofa in the same room the whole time.

My guess would be that she's had an increase in traffic lately due to the many good reviews she's been getting on this and other sites. I sugest that we all boycut the AMP for a month, and keep our dicks on detention so maybe they get the message and start respecting our two hundreds every time we visit them. I asure you that 70% of their buisnes is from locals and not from tourists.

Love Sex 22: I agree that we should boycott them and see what happens. Based on what they tell me most of the business is from tourists not the locals.(?) I have no idea but if they keep treating the locals the way they have been then we should avoid them and see what happens. Don't get me wrong as I love going to amps over the sw scene. But I also feel that for the money we should be treated better. I have been all over the U.S. and visited amps in most major cities and only here has the treatment gone down. I agree that a group boycott would be effective, but I think it would be more effective if the AMPs actually knew that we were boycotting them. Otherwise they may just think it's a downturn in business. How do we get the word to them that we are upset? We don't have a union leader who can write a letter!
The only thing a boycott will do is detract future freeagents from coming to Hawaii. Folks, most of these girls who work here are NOT locals; they are mainlanders who are come here to make money only, not to live here for the rest of their lives. So, the incentive has always been about the amount of money they can accumulate during their temporary stay. If they can't make enough money (because of boycott, for example), they just won't come. Word of mouth will spread that Hawaii is not a good place to work.
The problem is that we need attract better talents (not unlike NFL). We need to convince the AMP managers to get better people working there. Instead of boycott completely, we need to let them know that we will do business elsewhere.
Last week did some bar hopping in Kalihi went to this place called Club Ho Ban (old Hill Top) at first saw same old hags there. Spied a kb girl in mid 20's named Sun. She came up to me on bar and asked if I wanted some company so I thought what the hell. I am originally from New York we had the same problem in NYC until some enterpenour mongers decided to open this underground membership clubs. To be accepted you had to go trough a screening proces to prove that you are not LE. They organised SW and lap dancers and some young girls just needed to make a fast buck to work in the clubs. You pay $20 enterance fee they have full bar girls will do lap dances and you can fill them freely and they have a seperate room that you could go for BJ or FS rates 60 and 100 but also negotiable .
