There are at least two other forms of testosterone enhancers besides the shots. There are also patches as described in Suzanne Somers' book The Sexy Years. Her husband is prescribed these by a specialist doctor. I have just benefited myself from using the newly developed herbal pills to enhance testosterone.

After hearing many radio ads, I went to my local Vitamin Shoppe and picked up M-Drive. The active ingredients seem to be Fenugreek extract, Ginseng, and Cordyceps. A similar concoction I've seen advertised also uses Tribulus terrestris. I immediately noticed I could eat more and not gain weight. When it came time to see my regular provider my cock was much bigger and harder and lasted much longer. I should mention that even with Stiff Nights or equivalent my erections had been getting rather pitiful before taking the M-Drive.

Double NickleHow long before you noticed and difference, and how long before seeing you regular provider?

It was only about a day. 24 hours. On the M-Drive before I noticed I could eat more without gaining weight. I had expected to be up in pounds, but was surprised that I wasn't. It was just about a week. 7 days. Before I saw my regular provider again and performed so much better.

My month's supply of M-Drive ran out. I knew there were other brands of Testosterone enhancers but was amazed to find how many there were. They are apparently a big staple of bodybuilders. Their use to improve one's sexual performance seems to be more recent with fewer products marketed (though still a lot). Although the M-Drive had worked perfectly for the whole month, in the interests of research I tried another product, Vitali-T, sold at CVS and Walgreen drugstores. This also resulted in a great improvement, but the M drive seems to work better for me. Both have the same main ingredient, the herb Fenugreek, the extract of which is branded Testofen. Different supporting herbs are used however.

Double NickleDo you take MD with the Stiff Night or other ED pills? Same time? I was looking for a booster for my Viagra, so I could cut in half.

The testosterone enhancers with the fenugreek extract are twice a day, generally morning and night. This apparently keeps the levels steadily up. If you don't notice a distinct improvement soon, it may be your testosterone levels are OK without it. Doctors can check the level if you want to be sure.

I'll additionally take Stiff Nights or equivalent (which helps your natural nitric oxide cycle) around the minimum time before I need an erection. In other words, if the label says "works in as little as 25 minutes" I try to take it between 25 minutes to an hour before I need a hard-on. Although effects may last for 2 or 3 days, they seem to be strongest right at the beginning.

Double NickleI usually take 2G of Arginnine about an hr before I take V or L. I'm about out of Arg so I might try MD next if I can find a deal. So far the t booster I've tried were a waste df money.

"Think of a dirt-cheap vegetable you can buy at every greengrocers and supermarket. Put it in a juicer, give the juice to rats for three weeks, and watch their testosterone level rise by 314 percent. According to research done at Tabriz University in Iran, fresh onion juice raises testosterone levels as much as substances like nolvadex or clomid."

The older you are, the better it works. If you are under 40, it would be a waste. Not like V at all but you can tell a difference. I would take it like 2 weeks on. 2 weeks off. Since it is a hormone, your body will get used to it really quick.

Where do you find quality DHEA?I find that the cheap stuff from Walgreens or Kmart is just as good as the more expensive brands. I would not take more than 50mg a day.

"There appears to be an increase in testosterone following DHEA supplementation, but the vast majority of literature is in menopausal women (where testosterone contributes to libido). There is variability in the results, and DHEA is UNRELIABLE in increasing testosterone, but this unreliability extends to ALL DEMOGRAPHICS and subjects (with limited evidence of DHEA increasing testosterone in all studies including youthful athletes, which are less studied)."

If it were just that, I could live with it, but there is more.

"There appears to be a notable and unreliable INCREASE IN ESTROGEN following DHEA supplementation, with most research being conducted in menopausal women. This increase in estrogen has been NOTED IN MEN AS WELL, although similarly unreliable."

I sure as hell don't need more estrogen.

Keto DHEA is synthesised to prevent estrogen generation. It's more expensive but a better choice for men. It can be found at GNC or a store like Whole Foods.

But according to the studies I can find, about the only thing Keto DHEA is good for is it will help in me lose some fat, and its not even all that effective at doing that!

Beets, yes regular good old fashion beets, dramatically increase nitric oxide levels, and so do green leafy food such as spinach, swiss chard, beet greens, and others. Pom juice also works well but has a lot o sugar. A shake combining all works wonders. This has been verified by testing using Berkeley Nitric Oxide test strips. Nitric oxide is important in the pathway and normally decreases as we age. Increasing this, and then, if needed, combining with Citrulline / Arginine and ed pills such as Viagra, results in an erection that is hard (no pun intended) to believe.

Steam the beets for only 15 minutes, leave skin on for ease of preparation, slice. A little olive oil and salt and they are delicious. They are known as a vasodilator, and will lower blood pressure by 10 or 15 points, a medical fact. Thy also have an insane level of vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc. Very healthy. BTW, there are many ways to prepare beets, I give you my favorite which is also the easiest to prepare.

Good luck.

I've read it is dangerous to combine argentine with V. Have you had any issues? Do you find argentine or citruline works better? Did either really give you a bigger boost combined with V? Thanks.

I like Cernos testosterone gel sachets myself. For one, I don't like to inject anything and this is an external 'rub in' gel. You rub it into your thighs and it's absorbed that way.

"Celery is one of the best testosterone boosting foods".

"It's known to contain several androgens, including the androtestrone which just so happens to be a precursor of testosterone".

"Celery has also been shown to have modest aromatase enzyme inhibiting effects. Aromatase enzyme is one of the most nastiest enzymes in the male body, as it's primary job is to convert testosterone and other androgens into the female hormone estrogen".

Has any one tried DAA? The Aspartic Acid? This stuff will boost your testosterone but I quit taking it because, like so many products such as citrulline, arginine, viagra, it has to be taken on an empty stomach. Obviously, you can only take one product at one time on an empty stomach.

http://anabolicmen.com/vitamin-d-testosterone/

"Vitamin D is one of the 24 essential vitamins needed for human survival. It regulates more than 1,000 bodily functions and even increases testosterone levels. Vitamin D is actually not even a vitamin. It's a steroid hormone, mistakenly named as a vitamin. This hormone D regulates more than 1,000 bodily functions, including fertility, growth, hormone secretion, and sexual function. If your serum vitamin D levels are too low, more than 1,000 bodily functions are also somewhat impaired".

"Studies tell us that: 1. Men with low vitamin D levels are much more likely to have low testosterone levels when compared to men with adequate amounts of the vitamin. 2. Healthy men who decide to supplement with low dose vitamin D, can expect to have around 25% more testosterone in their bloodstream after a year of supplementation".

Vitamin the 2 is synthetic and not nearly effective. ONLY VITAMIN the 3 PEOPLE. ONLY D3!

I've been taking D3 for years, and only liquid D3, and I don't know all about the testosterone stuff you mention, but D3 is one, if the most important vitamin you can take as a human.

I always am Uncertain about synthetic drugs especially regarding testosterone boosters. I am approaching 40 and feels like I'm losing my sex drive. I'm becoming moody when it comes to sex. Found this articles on the web about Natural Aphrodisiacs:

http://www.mensaxis.com/natural-aphrodisiacs-for-men/

Do you or does anyone here have an opinion about this? Does natural Aphrodisiacs work?

Thanks.

Do you or does anyone here have an opinion about this? Does natural Aphrodisiacs work?I have tried most of those foods listed on the links you provided. I didn't notice any libido boost, but that's not a problem area for me. Herbs seem more likely to work. Maca didn't do anything for me, but some people say it works for them. I tried Tongkat Ali but it made me feel sick. Others say it works great for them. Mucuna Pruriens is supposed to boost libido but I haven't tried it. One time I took Muira Puama and it boosted my libido, but did nothing for my erectile function, which is what I wanted. Based on that I would say it is possible. I suggest you read this post I made on another thread:

I am approaching 40 and feels like I'm losing my sex drive. I'm becoming moody when it comes to sex.I agree with the previous poster that exercise is likely to help. I would add that it should be intense exercise like weight lifting or sprinting, not jogging. Building muscle and reducing fat boosts testosterone. Cut out processed foods from your diet. Sugar consumption increases estrogen, even natural sugar from fruit.

Actually I got ill. Violently ill. The worst flu I've ever had. For 36 hrs I threw up and shitted everything that was in my system. There wasn't a single anything left inside of me. Looking back I could easily have had food poisoning and should've been in the hospital but it came on so fast and struck so hard it was all I could do to just make into the bathroom. I was sick and dehydrated but all I could get near my mouth was some ice chips and a tablespoon of honey.

It took a full week to get back to any kind of normal. But when I did my appetite was completely different. And for some reason it included a strong craving for celery. And not just a piece or two. I would sit down and have to eat the whole bunch of it. Slowly my appetite came back around but I continued the celery thing. Every day for 6 weeks I was eating it. It was weird.

During this time I noticed I was horny. More that normal. Much more that normal. Normal for me is 2-3 wk. During this time I was doing it 6-8 times a week! I didn't get it why I was feeling like this. But looking back I can now put 2 and 2 together and see that it was probably the celery. So yeah, I would recommend it for increasing sex drive / libido in a natural (and cheap) form. It definitely had some good side effects for me.

I'm retirement age and during an annual exam, found I had very low testosterone a few years ago. I had little to no sex drive & energy. My doctor prescribed clomiphene citrate to give my low T a boost. It is really for women to boost their fertility, but has been found to raise low-T very well. I take half of a 50 mg tablet once a day. In about 6 weeks my low -T was gone and I tested 960 on a scale of 348-1197 for T Serum and 16.8 on a scale of 6. 6-18.1 Free T. Mood and sex drive really improved. I pay around $15/ month at Costco. Do a internet search for more info. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than all the false claims at the vitamin / health food stores and it really worked for me. http://shiramillermd.com/blog/clomid-men-testosterone-alternative.html.

Lactobacillus reuteri: Key to youthfulness?

https://www.wheatbellyblog.com/2018/01/lactbacillus-reuteri-key-youthfulness/

"MIT and the University of Thessaloniki in Greece suggest that L. Reuteri strain in particularly may also yield some dramatic age-reversing effects. While supplementing experimental mice with this microbial species, the investigators noted that the mice began to appear younger in as little as one week".

"L. Reuteri supplementation increased blood testosterone levels in males dramatically (by up to 800% over the negligible levels seen in aged mice), as well as increasing testicular size and Leydig cell volume. (Leydig cells produce testosterone.) A reduction of Leydig cells and testicular size, along with a reduction in testosterone, are among the changes that occur in aging human males, effects associated with reduced libido, sexual interest / performance, increased visceral fat accumulation / weight gain, decreased muscle and bone density, and cognitive impairment. Was associated with greater physical activity and increased muscle mass".

"So we start with L. Reuteri ATCC PTA 6475 provided by the Swedish company, BioGaia. Their product is called Gastrus and combines the ATCC PTA 6475 strain with the DSM 17938 strain. (Just Google "BioGaia Gastrus" to find a retailer.) Problem: There are only 100 million CFUs (live organisms) per tablet. I have not observed any substantial health benefits by ingesting the tablets. So I have been amplifying bacterial counts by making yogurt. The yogurt is thick, delicious, and contains a marked increase in bacterial counts. It is likely that trillions of CFUs are present (in one quart). People who consume 1/2 cup per day of this preparation are reporting the effects listed above".

Product: Custom Probiotics L. Reuteri Powder.

"Start with one adult scoop (0. 8 gram, 224 billion cfu's) of the probiotic powder first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (30 minutes prior to eating). Dissolve the powder in a glass of de-chlorinated water and drink it. The highest dosage we recommend is four adult scoops a day".

"exposing the torso or the testes to specific frequencies of light in the Red and Near-Infrared range has been shown to increase testosterone in men. In fact, studies related to the effect of light on the testes actually go back to the 1930's. In an initial study in 1939, it was found that men's testosterone levels went up by 120 percent when the participants' chests were exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. Even more impressive, their testosterone levels went up by a full 200 percent with UV exposure to the genital area. While most seek to limit their exposure to UV light due to its potential to cause cancer, this nearly 100-year-old study demonstrated the positive impact that natural light can have on testosterone production".

"A 2013 study in Biomedical Research examined the effect of light therapy on testosterone production in rats. This study found that light therapy at 670 nanometers (nm) increased the serum testosterone levels, with no noted side effects. Due to their findings, the researchers stated that red light therapy could potentially work as an alternative treatment method to traditional testosterone treatments. The positive results hold up in human trials as well. A 2016 randomized, placebo-controlled study conducted by the University of Siena evaluated men with a low sexual desire. It found that using light therapy generated a testosterone increase that resulted in better sexual satisfaction".

It would probably be trivial to make one DIY. Maybe one justification is that it had to be of a certain brightness to be effective whoch could be hard to do DIY. Still, $1000 seems ridiculous.

Maybe you could just use sunlight, although neighbors could be prohibitive. My dad once made a hand held periscope out of wood and mirrors. Maybe there's a way to use something like that to more discreetly use sunlight.

Look for "Red Grow Light". I ordered red LED grow bulb for about $35 and will put it in a goose neck study lamp. Seems like a cheap, low effort idea that could possibly have a nice payoff. Going to try shining on my cock and balls for 15 minutes each morning. Supposedly the optimal exposure distance is between 6 inches and 3 feet. I'll be sure to report back my findings.

I am looking for something that is going to boost my libido, though. I sometimes use PDE5 inhibitors, they work great for 'sport'. I just want to be more interested.

Someone once told me what cocaine was like, and specifically mentioned that it just instantly made you want to have sex. I am not going to do any street drugs, but I wonder if there are any other things that act like cocaine does (adderrall? Other dopamine agonists?) that I could try out. My physiology seems a bit weird, who knows if something off the wall might work. But I'd like to give it a try.

I dug a little and it turns out they sell basically the same type of product for gardening. I'll be sure to report back my findings.Reporting back. I now believe using red light does have a real and noticeable effect, although it is difficult to use correctly and consistently with the light that I purchased.

I bought this light bulb on Amazon. Note that there are a ton of different lights and panels available and the one I bought is probably not the best. https://www.amazon.com/ABI-Light-Therapy-660nm-Infrared/dp/B07SH39YT4/ref=mp_s_a_1_67?dchild=1&keywords=red+led+grow+bulb&qid=1604927288&sr=8-67.

This and similar bulbs are larger and heavier than regular bulbs of similar wattage. I have two study lamps and the bulb was too big for the head one one lamp. It fit in the second but is too heavy and so the lamp falls over unless I place something on the base to hold it down.

In my first experiments I shone the light on my balls for about ten minutes for a couple days. I noticed some mild horny feelings after a couple days, but I soon forgot about the light after that.

Some weeks later I was taking a walk in a park on a clear summer day and remembered the original link here that discusses UV light and the author's report about sunbathing his balls. That article also reported a testosterone increase when the torso is exposed to UV light. So I took off my shirt and sinbathed for about 20 minutes. The next day I felt incredibly horny and soon found myself in an AMP. This renewed my interest is using the red light.

My new routine is to do about 10 minutes of the light on my balls and 10 minutes on my torso. I have been able to get a good effect from the red light. It is enough that you really notice. Strong horny feelings and thoughts, strong and spontaneous boners, taking more notice of attractive women when I see them, higher level of energy, less stressful mindset. All of these are effects of higher testosterone. I also notice that orgasms are more intense and I feel it in more of my whole body versus just in my cock. It's interesting because I remember that from when I was younger and forgot due to a gradual decline I guess.

Now the problem is that with the bulb and lamp I am using, it is difficult to get a consistent effect. The response seems is sensitive to the placement and distance to the light, and it is hard to tell if the light is hitting the right place.

Now that I believe the effect is real, I will fins a way to perfect the use of my light or invest in a better setup. I also want to combine this technique with better exercise, as I've really fallen off the wagon over the past year or two.

Or maybe not as it reportedly is very easy to overdose. It once was available at stores like GNC as it helps boost human growth hormone, but not anymore. I've never used it but my understanding is that the main reason people use it as a party drug is because it makes you horny. If it was still available from a reputable supplement store I would try it, but I'd never take something from some random street dealer who cuts the product with god knows what and no quality controls over the manufacture.

You could also try phenibut, which is legal to purchase in the USA (for now). It is used to treat anxiety by prescription only in several other countries. It isn't an aphrodisiac per se but reduces inhibitions. I have tried this one. The effect was described as being drunk without being drunk, meaning elevated mood, confidence, outgoinfness, etc but without being stupid. I'd say that's an accurate deacription. And it does help you focus your desire and get horny. Be careful with this one as well as it can be habit forming after just a few days. I wouldn't use it more than 1 or 2 times a month personally.

Natural ways to optimize your testosterone levels are to get enough sleep, do resistance exercises, get enough zinc, magnesium and vitamin D.

After reading your post and doing some research, I purchased a bottle of 250 mg Phenibut HCL capsules from a Nootropic supplier ($16.99 for 60) with high ratings off the internet. Have used one capsule a few times and BoobHound is correct in his description. I did feel an elevated mood and a bit more confidence, but not a huge amount. Maybe two capsules would enhance the effects, but haven't tried it yet. Directions say no more than 500 mg a day if I remember right. One capsule combined with some V is was what I was looking for. Thanks for the lead BH!

Just be careful as research says your body can build up a tolerance to it and it is habit forming. It's even a prescription in a lot of foreign countries. I can say the next day after my second time using it I could tell my brain was trying to reason with me, "you know, one a day probably wouldn't hurt anything". So it does seem to have that effect on me. Makes me wonder if other Nootropics might have the same effect.

Regarding GHB, that seems to be long gone from all all the supplement stores and online sites. I couldn't find any reliable foreign online suppliers. To be honest, I didn't really look too hard either.

The study at the link below shows that vitamin K2 deficiency may be associated with age related decline in testosterone.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3180407/

"MK-4 stimulates testosterone production in rats and testis-derived tumor cells via activation of PKA. MK-4 may be involved in steroidogenesis in the testis, and its supplementation could reverse the downregulation of testosterone production in elders. Secreted testosterone levels from I-10 cells were elevated by MK-4 (an analogue of vitamin K2), but not by vitamin K1".
