Seeing as how anyone can easily view this, isn't there a possibility we are making it much easier for LEO with this type of thread?While on the face of it you have a point, your post lacks merit. I am pretty sure that most of LE knows where these notels are, especially since when they get desperate for arrest counts they hang out in their parking lots, or in an alley adjacent to them, where its liking shooting fish in a barrel.

My "go-to" favorite dump in LB charges me 15 per hour and I have been going there for years. I think they charge most people 20. Most places cost 20-25 and even 30 / hr.

In the old days, when Alvarado, Olympic and James Woods were the hot areas, I used to park in or around the no-tels and watch the goings-on. Then, I would catch them as they got ready to leave. I would get a better pick and often the gals were happy not having to walk on the street and risk getting into a car. For you, sit and drink coffee in a restaurant close to the action.

But be super careful if you are in a gang area as you will be in the open.

Go across the freeway into El Monte. North of the 10 there are a 3 notels on one corner owned by asians that will rent by the hour- $20 with a $5 deposit for the key that they will refund for most of them. Clean and they don't ask a lot of questions- they know why you are there.

Recently tried the Mt Gleason Motor Lodge in Tujunga for a late morning hook up, $40 for "a few hours", spent about 90min, room was serviceable, clean. Bathroom had what looked like the original tile and was clean and well kept. Will definitely use again.

Used the Islander Motel in Eagle Rock on Colorado for a 3 hour daytime hook up recently. The room was $25, clean, a / see worked, they do check your DL at the window, parking lot is somewhat hidden from the street. And the Oinkster is right down the street for an after hook up meal.

Ok. Obviously there are notels around the Hollywood area- meeting someone near Sunset / Gower and looking for a cheap notel for an hourly hit. I'm not a Hollywood monger so I'm not familiar with the area- don't really want to head all the way down to the Alvarado / Downtown area since traffic is bad and there is a timeframe involved.

Be careful about asking the girl where to go. You kinda want to control the situation and if she takes you to "her place" or a "place she knows" you might be getting set up to be robbed, jumped, or worse. Just a heads-up. Especially on the Fig track where it's a little rougher than other areas.

Check at the front desk, private parking, and In and Out right down the street. Only thing I didn't like was no deadbolt, next time I'll ask about that. And the SB wasn't all that great either, but that's another story.

They take your license plate # at the gate, but they don't hassle you. You go and get the room, they don't ask any question about how many people, they do make a photocopy of your DL, but who doesn't these days. It is $63. 50 including tax, so as I said, it isn't cheap, but if you can't get anything else, it is there.

So the Flamingo had rooms, but no by the hour, only by the night but their no jacuzzi room was $50. Jacuzzi was over .70 if I recall. Hard to make a decision off of reviews, apparently anything less than a Holiday Inn is GROSS and filthy to a lot of people LOL. I ended up picking the Motel 6 in Rowland heights, came out to $56 for the night with veteran discount, and was not dirty. Not huge but def a good size, and I just turned my keys in when I left.

Thank you in advance.You have your choice all down Figueroa, there is a motel like every block, sometimes 2 or 3 per block. On Flower you can try the Motel on 30th, behind the Carl's Jr on Figueroa. I went there but that was 15 years ago with a co-worker. (not a SW)

If you need a pretty decent notel in the valley check out the Emerson Inn on San Fernando. Very clean rooms, quiet and no questions / strange looks while checking in. Checkin takes me about a minute and you just drop off the room key on your way out. Cost is $60 cash or $60 + tax with CC. Not the cheapest but good for the price.

They are $65, don't rent hourly, and the Security at the gate to get into records your license plate, but other than that, they don't hassle you. I don't know what the story with the Panorama is, whether there are just SW in residence or whether they rent rooms hourly as well.

This is how it goes, you pay $20 and then after one hour you return the remote and get $5 back. Sweet.

It's close to Fig' and also close enough to 105 fwy to make it feasible to finalise Long beach. Blvd conquest.

Can I get any advice on getting an hourly motel in Panorama city. Seems like there are lots of seedy places around there, are most hourly? Do you just go up and ask for an hour rate. This will be my first experience with getting a notel after years of hobbying.

Thanks in advance.I live in Panorama City and I don't know of any. The nearest ones to Panorama City were the Palm Tree Inn, Diamond Inn, Travel Inn, and the Pink Cloud. All of these are on SB, and with the exception of the Pink Cloud they have all discontinued making rooms available on an hourly basis due to pressure from Councilwoman Nury Martinez and her campaign against Human Trafficking. If you find one that still has hourly rooms, could you let me know about it.

Anyone know of any places that will do an hourly in this area? Closest one I know is further south near the 105 but was looking for closer to the 5/605 area.

Does anyone know if the Mustang hotel or the Baldwin Hills motor in have hourly room? Or any other motel around Culver city that might offer them?
